You achieved a beautiful painterly look.
lycene (Sep 10, 2005)
Very pretty. The shading on the eye is cool, but what I think I really like best about this is the delicate indication of feathers.
GOODBYE (Sep 10, 2005)

I really like the colors you used for the skin on this, the pinks and the oranges. I especially like that you didn't make her stick-skinny--definitely a thumbs-up in my book.

GreenEye (Sep 7, 2005)
This is very nice... i'm not brilliant at horse anatomy, but i draw horses 98% of my time here, i like the colours and the position. Gives it a nice feeling of movement, and davinci said. Very nice, only thing is the chin should either be a bit smaller, or the jaw should be a bit bigger. But other than that, it's great! Keep it up!
emmamommalag (Sep 7, 2005)
Lovely horsie pic. :)
darkshadow (Sep 9, 2005)

anarie (Sep 6, 2005)
Yeah, his proportions are a bit off but the coloring is phenomenal! -can't cell shade for beans- Hermione's pretty! Oh and pleasepleasepleaseplease draw Krum and Cedric. -puppy dog eyes- Because I'm sure you'd make them handsome and they deserve to be handsome! -holds out money- I'll pay you! ...Well, maybe not, but I'll draw you a picture! :D Okay, I'm rambling...

Awesome picture, does this mean you have chapter 2 up on devart?
sesshomarulove (edited Sep 7, 2005)

Needs a bit more clarity but not bad at all Mal
lycene (Sep 6, 2005)
I agree, a bit more definition and this would be amazing. I really like the edge on the leaf, it adds a touch of dimension. Water is so hard to draw.

Rankings?
lycene (Sep 6, 2005)
How exactly do the rankings progress (Newcomer, Apprentice, Artist, etc)? I know Apprentice starts with 100 points, Artist with 200, and Dabbler with 300, but what happens beyond that? And is Dabbler relatively new?--I don't remember ever seeing it before. (Whew, lots of questions.)

Contest entry. Thinking of adding color. I know a fast moving car will spell my end. As was predicted it in my dreams.

Do you believe in the Apocalypse?
friend (Sep 5, 2005)
Global warming, Glaciers melt and sea levels rise, hole in the Ozone layer, Asteroids wipping out the planet, another galaxy crashing into ours, Extra Terrestrials invading, plague, nuclear warfare, Overpopulation, or the Devil. Do you believe any of those theories could cause the earth to be destroyed?

TRIP (Sep 4, 2005)
I open the door to find the vision of myself staring right back at me; the idle flashes of memory, imagery that flies by too fast for the eyes to process, the black butterflies swirling around before conscious escapes this bewildering estate of affiars. I see the ghostly waters that swallow bodies whole, sucking me in to relive my past. The reflection of my present day life is shining above the surface, waiting patiently for me to break its calm and enter the new disfigured picture. People that take pictures of you while you slowly drown in the river.
Waking up in the cold sweat of reality; heart racing, chest heaving, eyes wandering to the fragment of a ceiling above me. I'm shaking inside, as if each encounter formed another wraith in the ripples of the water...
You're just opening another door by peering in.

Ooh, wow... This is so cool. I love the waterdroplets, they look amazing. I really like the smokeyness of this.
Gemmy619 (Sep 4, 2005)
this is very cool, and i agree the drops of water look fab :)
GOODBYE (edited Sep 4, 2005)
I love the water contrasted against the dark greys.. hopelessly stuck in water as it rises.
I'm a big fan.
hideyourface (Sep 5, 2005)
