Ooh, pretty. I love how the colors are so bright and vibrant, yet this is a very calm, passive scene.I need something to put in the foreground... the ocean looks blank and boring.

My brother(not Derrick) killed a Dragonfly with his knife yesterday that looked just like that one. It was pretty awesome. Anyways... awesome pic. keep it up.

This is the flag of the county of Yorkshire in England (where i live)...the white Rose has been the sign of Yorkshire since the 1400's (the war of the roses) ...sometimes they also show the flag as a white rose with blue background...or rose with a crown ontop.. :) just thought i'd draw it lol

thanks lycene great link :) yeah the Tudor Rose as made after the war of the roses that was a war between Yorkshire (white rose) and Lancashire (red rose) afterwards they united the two counties by creating the tudor rose with 2 rings of petals...one red..one white.. :) i always loved tudor history lol

the leaves are supposed to be slightly out of focus. I'm unsure how to procede with the background. the plan was to fill the background with leaves. Orange rose

That is beautiful, I really love that effect what dreaminSTARgirl7 told you to do! Maybe a rain drop of water on a leaf would add too the effect ;) but it looks wonderful now!

I agree with all said above. This is beautiful, I really like the colors and the shading on the inside of the rose. The white lines between the rose and the background kind of take away from the whole effect. Overall, though, this is very well done.

Yah I think I will go back and fix it. Mostly the coloring and the hand. I just hate asking for more space, I always seem to go over the limit.Thank you all for the advice!
