I'm surprised his name is 'Sitty' and not something else, if you know what I mean. I like this it's cute! I love your cartoons! ;o)
lori (Jul 4, 2008)
I love them too :) I wish there was an Axil62 comic strip in my local paper. Old Sitty here has such a cute shaped body, and you look so excited in the background there, 'cause you're a stick figure and you know how stick figures can do so much more than real people can. Power to the stick figures, brother, that's what I say!

Old Sitty just sits, and sits, until he ......sits some more!

and I'm set in my ways.
But he'll make the rabbits and rocks sing his praise.
But I'm too tired, I won't last long.
No, he'll use the weak to overcome the strong.

Just love the way his face is melting, disintegrating. It's beautiful in it's way.
Aakyra (Jun 29, 2008)
I really like this... it appears as though his face is shredding. The effect is really cool!

No ref. Admitting, at this stage it belongs in beginners, but I hope to refine it and add more details soon. Will start my new job on monday however :D (yeah, so happy).

Thanks, I like doing fabric. Missed doing folds and stuff, but went all out with my previous drawing on the dress :D. So I couldn't let go of it yet.
When done with this drawing I figured it must either be a giant ducky, or a miniature towel. Making the tiles darker was actually very easy. I cloned the layer, set the top of the two to "desaturate" en played with opacity of the layer, making it more gray then blue.
For the drop shadows under the duck and towel I also clone the layer, moving the lower layer slightly right and under, setting it to overlay, set to the opacity you like. And finally blurring the edges so the shadow looks soft and more natural.

Nice little girl! Very sweet! Though it probably is just the way you draw fingers in your style, I imagine her having claws. She could be the sweet little girl with the claws. >:)

lay down
Axil62 (Jul 4, 2008)
OK so here's what the thing is. If they named a city "Laydown", then it would be Laydown City. So ya see, "city" sounds like "sitty" and sitty is about sitting, see? Like, a guy that sits a lot would be nicknamed "old sitty" probably see? So then you'd have lay down and sit in the same name and all the dogs would be confused.
