I feel really stupid, I can't figure out how to effectively blend with this program compared to Shi-Painter (which does not work for me anymore, no idea why, tried many solutions to no avail) to create a smooth shade. The 'blend' feature creates a strange colour pattern...oh well, I'll figure it out eventually I guess.
