or hanging by a thread...leaving tomorrow for my 'week in the beach house' vacation on a brownish greenish water maybe a few oil spills in view (Exxon employed my Daddy and fed me for most of my life so can't complain 'bout that part) Texas beach (lol) with long time friends and it comes not a moment too soon... figured if I didn't mention something about it at least one person here who has noticed I am obsessive compulsive about drawing here almost every day would think I had died or something when they don't see any pictures posted by me. I'm sure I'll be in major 2draw withdrawal by the time I get back. Have to throw some more bikinis and t-shirts in my suitcase and then I'll try to finish drawing this. |

I think, emma was asking about your name 'deb', longway...? I forgot to say in my earlier comment that I love how you did that sparkly stuff on the hat...that's great! The eyes are awesome as usual and I like the waves of her hair too... :)

Longway, these last couple have been so nice. You've added just a touch of sharpness to them without losing the soft feel. I like that. Oh, and *waves to you too*. ;) The hair looks nice.

thanks everybody, it really means alot to me. there are those people whom don't understand the grief that we know. to them a dog, is a dog, big deal. but for those of us who took the time to care and teach a pup, we know the difference. i still remain shocked as he reached out his paw to me at the last moment, raised his chin into the air, and bade me farewell. he had some of the worst habits a dog can have, but i would give anything for him to be here, and do them again. my god, it hit me like a brick, it was and is so profoundly done, i am in awe of his magnificence and grace, to the last moment, in as much as we intended, he never made it to the vet... again thankyou all so much.....inoun or longway..

Damn! Im so sorry I only just found out- my telephone line has been broken for the last 5 days- all I can do is send my condolences- I know how you feel having lost various cats, I really do think they touch our hearts in such a profound and trusting way! |

I suffer with the same things...especially the last 11 months...But if it was not for the help given to me by Jesus, i would probably have committed suicide... I think I liked version one better. I'm biased towards big shading contrasts. The background suits the portrait nicely.
