you should try to draw more freely and not focus on the rules that need to be followed, such as the folds and clothes and where to shade. You should look at a real person and learn the rules. Then if you wanna draw anime, just draw a cartoon and use the rules you've learned from your own eye.

I know, and usually I do. I just have a lot of trouble in general with oekaki's. Also, I think it might make more sence when you realize in the final he's holding a giant lightsource of a fireball. |

Just checking in...it's been a while...I still have trouble with all this online stuff, but I thought "try again, just for S's and G's".Whateva! :P Line art done, safety / might need to leave soon save.
you know, half way through the lineart I had to stop using my tablet, so the majority of this was done with just mouse. Go me!

I slept all day, so now that it's late I was lookin' around at places I haven't been in a while, and decided to put up a picture. It's like, a fuzzy in UT2004. My mind is more shot now then ever.So, did I miss anything?

i before e, my friend. He has no mouth? The lineart is fairly clean but all the same line weight. Use differing thicknesses of line to add character and depth to your lineart. Can't make out what the background is.

Oooh, looks like vector ^_^ which is cool, are you going to do the shading like that too? (please say yes! ^^;)Great job so far. This came out fairly well I think. If anything, be more sparse with the shine from the moon and a greater contrast for the shadows.
