Very cute QT...looks adorable.
QTgillie (Jan 12, 2009)
thanks gel, jpjp and dave, yes jpjp, you would be correct on that assumption, I still don't have her quite right, but getting there, her white fur is difficult to image, she is full of little collics all over her neck and chest.
Miss_DJ (Jan 14, 2009)
Happy Birthday, Puddles! I like the way you drew her fur. It's unusual but it works nicely!

Thanks, mursku =) You should try it! It's not as hard as some might think...ya, maybe a little patience is required but that's a good thing to practice too!

Maybe you should draw Taz in the tv. Everybody wins. :)

If you flip from revision 1 then to the last revision it looks like hes jumping out.

My friends parents had a tv like this one....it had remote control too!! But, the wire going from the tv to the remote was only so long....Nice glassy glass!!

Chibipaint Alpha Added
marcello (Jan 3, 2009)
I hope everyone had a great holiday and happy new year. As some people have noticed already, I have added preliminary support for chibipaint on all boards. Chibipaint is an open-source drawing app created by Marc Schefer. It is currently an alpha product and has some known issues. Read the wiki page for more information on what it can and cannot do. I am looking for someone to redraw the icons for Chibipaint ...

you don't have smooth lines in lascaux? I do. o_O
jpjp1052 (Jan 3, 2009)
marcello, I still get knocked off the internet when I submit using ChibiPaint. I have get back on to finish submitting. Anyone else have this problem with Chibi?
I like Lascaux & I like Chibi. Chibi has better blending, dodge, airbrush, and ability to increase brush size to really big. Lascaux has gradient and many fine features too.
I like Chibi for some drawings & Lascaux for others, depending on the effect(s) I'm trying to get. I hope we can keep Chibi so that we can have more choices in drawing applets.
Thank you, marcello, for lettings us try Chibi.
enjoydotcom (Jan 4, 2009)
My fine lines look a bit like wool if I use the 1px 'fluffy' brush, 'f' set to a lower number and 's' on the little vertical line.

new version of chibi up

re: enjoy: lascaux has smooth lines if you play around with the settings. choose the 3rd brush type, set the flow under 150 (though it depends on your brush size, larger brushes need larger flow), and make sure antialias is on. that should pretty much do it. be wary of the 1pixel brush, as it sometimes behaves specially. :-) If you zoom in you can get fractional brush sizes (like 1.5 pixels), which will go a step further for smooth lines.
