It's an interesting effect when the object itself (the matchbox) is almost more stylized than the picture on it (the diamond). I like that, and the staple! :)

I love this Axil... love all your work
JackSprat (Aug 3, 2004)
Another awesome paint! Okay, this one, I'm thinking....kitchen. It's bright, it's whimsical, just fun to look at over and over.
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
Benjamin Moore, huh? I think I just saw thins in the Sherwin Williams commercial. Looked good there, looks good here too.

What an awesome style. I crave for more!
ironoxide_red (Aug 4, 2004)
Thanks! The teddy bear is part of the anti virus protection or something. I'm trying to move away from the sketchy lines as I get more familiar with the applets.
Harmanye (Aug 4, 2004)
How amazing! I can't believe I missed this. The tones are simply... wow. And I think that the picture on the moniter (which is clearly the same picture we have here) is really clever...

And like I said about the tones.. just simply... superb. 'Warm Computer' is certainly an apt title, since all the warms you used in this picture...
Renuar (Jun 16, 2005)
yea, you are very talented iron - i hope to see more like this in future.

My very first "piece" here its just a simble icon. Sun, sword, and chrysanthemum. Please if you have any tips for me im gonna do icons only because full size images dont turn out well when you arent the most dexterous person with a mouse

chrysanthemum, a flower, symbol of the emperor/daimyo
breac (Aug 2, 2004)
This is very good! And don't worry about the whole full image thing, I used to really suck with a mouse too, but a bit of practice can really help!
Eiroku (Aug 2, 2004)
i need a wireless mouse, my mouse sticks and skips when i draw. sometimes i just want to draw a nice smooth like but my mouse skips and it gets ruined, so i kinda developed a sort of scattered line style, or i do pixel by pixel icons
ironoxide_red (Aug 3, 2004)
I know, drawing with a mouse is really frustrating! Sometimes I think scribbly lines or pixel-by-pixel are all they're good for. This one's nice. See you at the Sprite Board!

Yeah.
Glass.
XD

Gotta get ready for churchy stuff... ... I think I'll go and get my clothes out of the dryer. If the stupid thing has been so kind as to actually DRY them. Instead of the door popping open and the dryer doing it's darned hardest to spit them out.
Oh sure, the washer will take'em when they're DIRTY. But the dryer would have anything to do witht hem just because they're a bit SOGGY.

Aw. Shucks. Out of space. And I do hate asking for space on the beginners board --;;

But yeah, 'tis pretty plain in the background.

Thank you though, Knockoff :) Maybe I'll try it again, now that I know I can do it... well... moderately well XD :)
davincipoppalag (Aug 2, 2004)
I usually give my appliances a 'time-out" when they won't behave. Once in awhile I have to threaten the dryer that I won't clean out the lint trap. That usually works. This is very nice.
thesolarwinds (Aug 2, 2004)
this is beautiful, thanks for the comment. :), so amazing.
ironoxide_red (Aug 6, 2004)
Very nice reflections in the orb. If your clothes aren't dry when you need them you can (almost) always iron them!

Oh, this must be one of the few _skinny_ evil clowns out there! :) You made the center of that fire look very hot and scary.

Thanks everyone, this turned out much better than I expected. That's a clever observation, ironoxide.

Here's an interesting thought: I never could have made this just a few months ago, as I've learned so much since coming back to 2draw. Viva la 2draw!
ironoxide_red (Aug 4, 2004)
Viva! I'm here to learn too. Hopefully in 5 months I'll have found out how to use the water color tool.
Knockoff (Aug 4, 2004)
Woaw, now this is very nice realism, Zack. I love how you put realism together with something thats sometimes isn't real at all. The blood is great, next to that big red nose!:D

Evil, stupid, bald - very scary! He reminds me of the photo on the cover of my copy of A Confederation of Dunces. Nice work!
thug (Jul 29, 2004)
this rocks! reminds me of a nightmare I once had. If his mouth glowed red like coals that would be the guy who haunted my dream.
Aubrey (Aug 6, 2004)
I never got ta see this *sniffles* That guy does look very scary. That's a wicked grin you gave him Clox!
Xodiak (Sep 12, 2004)
When I will have my own little kids, I will take this one for their parties. >:)
