well, you'll probably want to start using layers.that way you could use the airbrush underneath the lightsaber to give it a better glowing effect. And um, keep practicing! This picture isn't bad or anything.

arg I hate when you think you're just about finished, and need to go over the picture again, and keep finding little things to fix. For me, its never ending x_x. I decided to just not look at it, and submit it. Yeah. It's hide again. My first time using paintbbs..

This is one of those pictures you can see lots of different things in if you stare at it for awhile. That's the best kind of picture because it stimulates your imagination. I love this.

Its a cello. I tried doing some van gogh painting style thing. Didn't work out too well. Suggestions would be helpful.

cellos are thinnn in the middle. Its just sicne you cant see the bottom or top it makes the whole thing look thin.. And uh yeah. I like the way the colour turned out.

I can spot several faults to this, although it is a pretty good attempt. 1.) Line tool and beizer zre no-nos. 2.) like marcello told me when I first drew a DBz picture, Try looking at a referance. 3.) Take your time while coloring!! I still see some white spots from just deciding to use fill on everything and not bother anymore. Edit: This does not belong on the intermidiate board either. I suggest you take it off before it's deleted. 4.) Shading. If you use it, your pictures will never suck. Most of the time anyway. overall, this is and O.K. DBZ pic, but take what I said and what other people say to make this much better.

Not to be bitchy, but.. "Users should expect to spend at least half an hour on each entry on this board." you should just practice on the shape of the head and the way in which the hair is supposed to be drawn. Practice on the beginner board and maybe use the pen tool instead of pencil. Oh, and the muscles.. yeah.. practice! |
