I'd draw the whole body first as as a sketch and perfect everything afterwards so you can be sure of the proportions and everything.also the nose shouldn't curbve out that far and it should eb closer to the mouth. Nice eye and shading on the face though.

Lol, thanks... I guess. It's just I thought I'd be unique and make my own kind of faceish stlye, I mean it's a cartoon, not a real life portrait...So I didn't think a proportion was set...

I REALLY love that dragon on her back!!! Her right hand is a bit weird but all in all good drawing!!! It make me want to go to the beach!!!!! ^_^

Hnn... I think that if you had put a tad bit more time and effort into this piece, you would have achieved a better result... For example, the coloring of the figure really needs work... you didnt even color within the lines, and there is no shading to speak of (the random dark grey stuff on the head doesnt count...)Also, the lineart itself is messy and ill executed... the shapes are there, but the lines need to be refined.... lastly, the background, although kind of cool, could have been a tad bit more complex... Oh well... Try harder next time, please :|

the only thing I'd change about this, is too get the colours in the lines ( but leave the lines the way they are) and to make the water blend nicer. It looks like she's in a hot spring so mist would be neat too. I wish I could edit it ;o

Xod, you are amazing... You transformed yucky, poorly done lineart into a masterpiece... Renire, next time, please spend more that 7 minutes on your work... A good time for a beginners drawing should be 30 minutes... At least... Thats the only way that you will better your work :|

Wow, this is actually quite good! yes, i agree with the rest of you, Xod's coloring made this wonderful but hey, with her lineart, it does actually make this picture quite interesting and comical. The coloring also put more emphasis on the word: 'No!'

colour the skinn. And use the pen instead of pencil. Um, search for anime tutorials on google, theres a few good popular sites. But if you want to be able to draw actual people and would put a lot of work into drawing. I suggest www.saveloomis.org (I think thats it) it has great figure drawing scans of the guy's books.

Don't use the pen instead of the pencil to get used to the applets. The skin is fine uncolored, it looks kind of like a print that only has two colors availiable. Backgrounds are good tho. Well, use whatever you want, color whatever you want, but if you use the harder to make perfect tool (in this case the pen tool) when you're learning then it'll be easy as pie later.

Besides, this is actually pretty great, I think the shape is just fine, there's no glaring anatomy problems, even the boobs are pretty much right on. I like her face shape. The only tip I have is to spend more time at drawing and try harder to make it look better. It's surprising how awesome you can be if you just keep tweaking.
