Tulips
KathyH
(Mar 15, 2008)
I am ready for Spring!
KuteDymples (Mar 15, 2008)
I have so many drawing sites I am connected to now and I can't seem to put out one decent draw on any of them. Have a major block. I love looking at yours though. You've been one busy lady lately. Keep them coming.
QTgillie (Mar 15, 2008)
this is just so pretty. Cant wait for the tulips to start popping their little heads out. I do not have any planted here, since we moved. I should quit drawing and get some planting done here!!

Yes I used an image from the movie out this weekend after all he is a legend, hope I'm not in trouble for posting something like this, I just wanted to try him. I did him on another site, worked for 4 hours, went to post, and POOF, he was gone, system couldn't handle that much I guess. I'm up for spankings if need be, just tell me I've done wrong and I'll remove, or whatever the consequences are.
Meno (Mar 16, 2008)
Loved it here, loved it there, loved it, loved it, EVERYWHERE! (Was that "Seussian" enough?) ;D
STARZSHINE (Mar 19, 2008)
awwwhhh fuzzy, back at your characters which you do so well, very cute, I want to take my g-kids to see this, I hope it stays true to the book, sometimes hollywood ruins the simplicity of the childrens stories, beautiful work as always fuzzy! :D
Kamll (Mar 19, 2008)
The shading is smoother and more refined on this version. but... I think I may like the Sketchfu one better : /
Aakyra (Mar 22, 2008)

Meno (Mar 16, 2008)
Beautiful to the eye, indeed!
KathyH (Mar 16, 2008)
Very pretty rose!
STARZSHINE (Mar 19, 2008)
so delicate and beautiful, just a blush on the petals, nice work Laura.
Xina54 (Mar 22, 2008)
this is just lovely but I wonder if the petal (bottom left) should be a bit sharper if its in the foreground . . . |

Very realistic colors, nice work.
KuteDymples (Mar 16, 2008)
So nostalgic looking and excellently done!
MissA_sketches (Mar 16, 2008)
Incredible work! It's so shiny too. I'm jealous 'cause I still can't do metallic objects. Way to go!
STARZSHINE (Mar 19, 2008)
I love your subject matter, no matter what you do, it is stunning, nice work Jp. |

Dohhh son needs a ride bbl
FuzzyWuzzy (Mar 14, 2008)
I did use a reference, a glass of white wine I did on another site and I had to keep filling that glass to get the lighting right *hickup*. I also took some pics of the glass before I started drinking from it, neither pic looks like any of the photos but at least I got somewhat of what I was going for, I need to work on making it shine though without making it look drawn, mainly I was trying to draw glass, I've seen others do it with such ease and few strokes *pouts* but I haven't caught onto it yet. Thank you for all your kind words everyone!
gerbear (Mar 14, 2008)
Hello Fuzzy darling!! Great draw and interesting how the different drawing programs change the end result of the pictures. Glass trick is...Need a very bright hard edged shadow somewhere to show the highly reflective quality. Same for metal, the cleaner the hightlighted edges the shinier the object. You are doing great with the transparency part of it, this glass looks very solid yet clear. You have great control with this program!
gel_o (Mar 15, 2008)
Wow, this is great Fuzzy! Just perfect......keep going and don't worry about that timer as we all think it is broken :>)
STARZSHINE (Mar 19, 2008)
Nice work fuzzy, very soft with a misty look, reminds me of an acyrilic painting, lovely. Oh got anymore wine? I could use a good couple of glasses full! oh ya, right about now, even though it is noon, I need to tie one on and let the hair down! lol, been one of those weeks...great now you've turned me into a boozer, see what your art did! lol, jk,, again nice work. |

Play, play, play with your crayons ... eventually, I'll figure this thing out!
davincipoppalag (Mar 10, 2008)
Do yourself a big favor ..use either Oekaki Shi Painter or Lascaux.. you'll be much happier
QTgillie (Mar 10, 2008)
nice....I have not used this program that you used yet. I have mainly done the lascaux. I think starz likes the Oekaki Shi. Personally I cannot tell the difference.
gel_o (Mar 13, 2008)
Keep going...you are doing great! |

Hey Meno. I really like the colors. Very calming. Nice draw. Keep at it. Both Starzshine & QTgillen said they didn't think they could learn the drawing applets here, but now they are drawing amazing pictures.
QTgillie (edited Mar 10, 2008)
wow Meno....this is great.....how did you get that cool texture thing going?????? Keep it up hun.....you will get hooked!! I think my tablet is giving me troubles now though. It is skitzophrenic. )?no clue how to spell that word)this helped me a lttle, but i need to look at it some more, i just touched base with this tutorial http://2draw.net/wiki/Lascaux_Sketch

How did I miss this one? Very good and interesting design.
jpjp1052 (Mar 15, 2008)
Like an optical illusion. Quite interesting and unique.
FuzzyWuzzy (Mar 15, 2008)
Very well done, I love shiny round objects *reaches over and kisses bald head of co-worker*
STARZSHINE (edited Mar 20, 2008)
I missed this one Laura, I love the realism of the bowling ball in juxtaposition to the two demensionalism of the cartoonish background, or what ever I mean...lol 8P very neat! |

Exquisite and a very graceful drawing!
enjoydotcom (Mar 14, 2008)
I like your ballerina's, so don't take this the wrong way, I have a feeling you shouldn't automatically post on advanced. It looks a bit unfinished to me. Maybe it is your style, but the face looks a bit flat and masculin.
gerbear (Mar 14, 2008)
Wonderful job QT. *G* Love your ballet series. But have you deserted us forever????
Miss_DJ (Mar 20, 2008)
beautiful...I love the frilly laciness! |
