Oooo. I love the way you've mixed the desaturated tones of the hat and her skin with the supersaturated colours of her lips, her kimono and the background. The hat is *ahem* well, dammit, amazing. Love the tension in the chin strap/skin and the way you've just managed to hide her eyes from the viewer...so we're always trying to peer up under the edge of the hat. Critiques? Hmmm. That gorgeous bouncelight underneath her chin makes me wish there was a tiny bit of shine on the skin of her cheek. But's that nitpicking. I love this.

It's insane how much subtle texture is in the skin here. I can't begin to imagine how to do this with lascaux sketch, and it'd still be incredible regardless of the medium.

But I feel pity of these person. Person? it is like a useless bag of organs: It can't move, it can express anything (He has no eyes, and eyes are the window of the soul >_> <_< ). But maybe he is suffering, dying slowly. No one cares about him... I don't think anyone wants to even see him. Yes I feel pity of these poor creature :(

I love how the lip marks aren't too defined and they even show the little lip wringle mark. . . things. I hope you can understand what I just said, 'cause I'm pretty sure I don't. Great job, though.
