Just a try on 3d glass n shade. No ref. Kinda weird i tried using rectangle-selectiontool, but then it start to error,.. (for your info) I got bored of it, so its the way it is.. Better try something new...

I did a doodle of my Chara Hodo in this pose last night...and figured I'd try to oekkai it with a background...I'm obsessed with Hodo lately. <3 I really stink at Backgrounds...any tips on how to improve on them? critique always loved. PS not done, excuse the scribbleness.....I have to go to work in liker....five minutes. D= )

I like the background! it looks like a watercolour or oil pastel wash...I felt like fleshing out Hodo a little more...I'd rather work slowly on this picture and see how well I can make it come out.
as ever, all critique welcomed. <3 Finally got around to finishing it...still open to help about backgrounds and such.

I might go back and change this later... I tried to make the platypus as realistic as possible, after seeing some of the photograph-like work on this site, and I think it turned out alright. However, I'm largely dissatisfied with the balloons, and might completely redo them sometime.

yay second pic. ^-^ i'm not sure if i'm done..i guess not. i feel like i should add more. but my pc is screwing up and i'm tired. this is my character Yuki again. i feel like i messed up. i think his torso is too small and his head is messed up. and he's sitting on a rock. ^ ^ also, i don't know how to shade black clothing that isn't shiny. X.x
