Well, I guess because they judge you on your own creativity and originality....and maybe they think using a "ref" pic wouldn't be showing your own creativity....I dunno.....I think if you use a ref pic to get a basic idea of what to draw......but use your own creativity with it.....does that make sense???

I was going to draw an old Man Smiling holding his dentures in right hand, near his face. (but that was a ref) But it was a tough one anyway.

"Wow"! Great draw pawillie! It must've taken a lot of trime and patience to get all those rocks colored like that.....you did a great job with this! :)thanks firecracker, it was hard because my hand was spasming out, I made corrections so I hope it looks better
