This picture reminds me of a story of a man who killed a cat viciously, took photos of the cat and then posted the photos on an internet forum. This made other people very sad and angry about the incident and they contacted the police and they finally arrested the man.

I think this is one of the most awesome drawings you've ever draw Lori. Making it sharper or spending more time on it could ruin it's dynamic qualities. It would be cool to see you spend 3-4 hours on a piece like this but hey, I rarely do that either so I should stfu.

What Cloxboy said, detailing and sharpening it up would kill what's already here. Not all pictures are meant to be viewed up close after all. Actually, it takes a good eye to be able to add just the right highlights and blotches of colors to make it look realistic from a distance (not to mention keeping proportion as well). I think it's impressive the way it is.

One pretty easy way to improve your artwork is to start using layers. Hope that helps.

I've been drawing/painting quite a few wrinkly old ladies lately. This one seems quite smug about something.
Had fun with this one, it's a different style than I normally use.
