Reference used in the form of a Scarlett Johansson picture. I know this girl doesn't look anything like her. No justice to her done here. Not sure what the age-rating should be, she is more dressed than most of us at the beach ;v. |

That's awesome, whenever I hold my gerbil I have to wear gloves cause it bites so hard.
enjoydotcom (Mar 18, 2007)
My brother once had a gerbil, it was sooo cute. It drank droplets of whatever of your finger.

Reference used in the form of an add for a certain type of clothes/shoe-brand.Wow spent 4.25 hrs on this one? It isn't the longest I spent on one, longest is over 10 hrs.
enjoydotcom (Mar 17, 2007)
I'm quite happy about how the crinkles in the dress turned out too. But -lol- I bet that with the very first little wave we'll hear a thud or splash...
Altard (Mar 17, 2007)
I like the red against all the grayish colors, and the hair looks really nice and detailed.
cmb (Mar 17, 2007)
I like the quality of this, like an illustration for a book... I can imagine a story of exotic travel in far away places...
Miss_DJ (Mar 17, 2007)
I agree with you, Chris! That dress is incredible. I just love the whole draw. |

yes I tendf to use colour contrast a lot, although someone said to me yesterday red and green should never be seen.... makes me want to draw opposites in the colour wheel...yellow/purple orange/blue green/red

– latest 4:Setting it to finished because I need space in my studio. He'll still be waiting for Cindy to color it. Have no fear. I just loved what you described I had to change the title. :) ok, all done. I merged all the layers I created, but left yours as I found them.
I think he's beyootiful, don't you? mmmm...Hunny :)
deathking (Apr 21, 2007)
Simply beautiful coloring, I expected something this good from you two working together again ^_^.
fleeting_memory (Apr 22, 2007)
OH! fantastically colored DBA! I was afraid this was going to be left undone. *applause*
Sweetcell (May 12, 2007)
I had meant to comment when you were finished but so many pictures to look at and draw. He is boo-ti-ful hun, just a sweet sweet bear and seriously, your background is soooooo much better than the refs. It's so fun coloring aint it? Thanks for painting him, I say we do this again soon. Maybe..... TIGGER? My jumpy bumpy Tigger. :DJust on a side note did you know Winni the Pooh was created after a real bear named by his owner after his home town? True story, a Canadian soldier in WW11 found an orphan cub and raised him and he became the mascot for his unit and he was taken with them over seas to London, but the soldier couldn't take care of him when his unit was called to duty so the London Zoo took him in and raised him. His story became known and the bear became famous, and one day an author brought his young son to see him and the boy fell in love with the bear so much, the author created a story revolving around this bear. The author of course was A.A. Milne, and his son Christopher, who Christopher Robin was named from. And the bear in the London Zoo that came across the ocean with his Canadian keeper was named after the Canadian soldier's home city, where the bear was found. The city was named Winnipeg, my home city, and Winni (Winnipeg) is one of our famoes exports. Just a little FYI. :) |
