Ummm... this is my very first attempt at creating somewhat realistic skintones.... as you can see it didn't turn out very well. But I'll keep experimenting.

I think it came out rather nice. I feel however the left side of her face is shown more than you'd expect from the pose. But I'm not a pose expert.

This is great! One of the best I've seen on beginner! The hair really compliments the face! It's gorgeous! Maybe make the backround more interesting but that's your choice. |

It is a baby chimp. I know there are a few things wrong with it like white spaces (I remembered I should´ve put a background first when it was already too late) but in general I think it´s pretty cute. Do you? It´s not finished yet. oops forgot to put it as finished before.

Well damn me CV, that needs to go on the wiki. Is there an Oekaki wiki? I know there's one for Scow but I never saw one for Shi. Hope you follow her tutorial Melissa, you'll find it'll make your pictures smoother and make it easier.

awww!!! its so cute!!! I just want to hug him forever!!!I just wanna finish, it, I done some sort of background and I dont really know what it is. Please dont be too harsh if you comment cos I just needed to finish it. Also I really dont know what is the blue thing behind it. I kinda think it makes him look like he is a colourful design on a bar of soap :P

Thanks for the comments, it is a big encourgement for me to keep trying. I have a hard time with the applets after not being here in such along time, but I will get back to where I was and much better. I have my mind set on it. Is this the right board? So, what made you start drawing, and what made you keep at it? (there's probably already been a thread on this...) Well, let's see...as for me, I originally started somewhere around first grade. What did I draw? Animals. Why? I got some book called "Draw Rainforest Animals" or something, and used that. I didn't draw much back then though. Then, a couple of years later, I became re-obsessed with Sailormoon (I had watched it when I was much much younger, waaay before...

This is Unico from the movie "Unico In the Island of Magic". I saw this movie when I was about 6 years old and I still love it to this day. It's such a unique movie, the story is so bizarre and the animation is trippy. I highly recommend you rent or buy this movie, it's awesome.

it doesn't really matter whether I like it or not, I could simply get rid of the custom font feature from lascaux, or make it detect special fonts. I'm curious more on what people think on adding uploading/pasting to 2draw.
