All they heard, over and over, the screeching, the sobbing, the desperate pleading -

(they knew it would amount to no avail.)

- "God, god, please, don't take him, don't take him from me..."

No one slept that night. They never did, and no one said a word to one another when they came to wake them the next morning...

..and after several hours he was brought home from the dentist with a beautiful bright smile and a set of braces and they gave him lemonade and cookies and he said...gee that really wasn't so bad after all.
clover_pocky (edited Jul 26, 2007)
Davi, I laughed so hard after I read your comment, that I woke up my house. XD

LOL, thanks. <3

DJ - It was the point, actually. <3 Sorry I made you sad, but I'm glad you get it.
enjoydotcom (edited Jul 26, 2007)
Lol@Dave and his immensely funny twisted mind. And if you don't mind me saying, a set of braces wouldn't be a luxury for this guy. Love how you did the vains on his arms.

HAHAHAH! Funny Comment Dave! Nice drawing Clover! At first Glance, I thought it was a Character known as Rawhead Rex. The most vicious character I ever knew.

Sure, you can have him free of charge. Just be sure to walk him everyday and feed him at night. Stock up on Chardonnay and Brie, that's his favorite combination.
enjoydotcom (Jul 26, 2007)
Hmm, Brie and Chardonnay... throw in a french bread and I'm right there besides him.
Love his posh/stern expression.
davincipoppalag (Jul 26, 2007)
He looks like a..gasssppp...insurance agent!
Sweetcell (Jul 26, 2007)
He'd fit right in amoungst the people from The Incredibles universe. One of the every day men.
Hallow Harold looks quite crisp in his suit.

Nice shine in the hair there
Kaminari (Jul 25, 2007)
Wonderful hair. This shading is awesome! O_O
The skin shades are great too, but it looks like you forgot just one lighter shade on the skin (but perhaps it's only due to the bright highlight-line in the hair..?).
The style-mix of bold outlines and gentle shades is interesting. I don't know if I like it, though...
(Beautiful expression and great anatomy btw.)
enjoydotcom (Jul 25, 2007)
I like the contrast between the bold outlines and gentle shades, also love the hair, looks so soft and washed with a very good shampoo :D. I agree with Kaminari, although I don't feel it needs heaps of (more) highlights on the body.

Dedicated to a certain someone...they betrayed and almost killed someone that I love dearly, and they will get what's coming to them.

Congratulations TripleE313, " You'll Get What U Deserve." is awarded first place for Contest Week 56: Anger. This piece literally explodes with anger represented by the bullet going through the heart and you can feel the emotional pain behind it. TripleE313 was able to convey that rawest of emotion and allow us to share, briefly, that rage. Hope you feel better now sweeting. :D

A night sky complete with clouds, stars, the sky, and moon, carefully placed, blurred, and replaced to find the most realistic appearance. I'm pretty proud of it, concidering my tablet is broken.

This took 30 minutes? Interesting.
MelissaMissy (Jul 22, 2007)
I agree with all of these comments, this is a nice peice, beautiful but i cant beleive it took 30 minutes, its lovely but not spectacular.
clover_pocky (Jul 22, 2007)
This is actually pretty interesting, my laptop monitor's screen is adjusted too bright and I can see the contrasts. I do very much like this, and it's very simple. With all the mad colour flying around, it's nice to see something like this. However, the moon is backwards.

I feel like I'm staring up into the midnight sky out in the country.

The above commenter has left a lot of, "boring and not my thing." I hate to be a troll, but it doesn't seem like she likes much of anything anyone does. *ducks*
Sweetcell (Jul 22, 2007)
Well this is interesting, the moon is ok, but this isn't intermediate. Please start in begginers to get to know how the tools work before you work your way to this board.

I love this, even if I do say so myself. It´s ok if you don't but it's the best I've ever done. I hate the hair but I love love the nose. This was done with a mouse (don't link me to the car pic drawn with a mouse) and I'm 11 years old so take that into consideration when you comment. Anyways, hope you like it cos I do hehe :)

Sweetcell (Aug 21, 2007)
Melissa, I think you are, really. Even I GOT THAT.
MelissaMissy (edited Jan 21, 2009)
Not to aggrevate this, but by saying 'EVEN I got that' makes it sound like, well, you know. You'd probably get it more than me anyway.

Sweetcell (Jul 19, 2007)
Mulan's my favorite (maybe because it's the one Disney movie where the girl kicks ass and saves the day) but you did Belle pretty. Hell, your Belle is prettier than the original.

Prismacolor Markers?
shalalaheartattack (Jul 16, 2007)
Has anyone here used Prismacolor Markers? Got any opinions on them? My sister wants to buy them for me for my birthday (which, incidentally, isn't until April), but I told her I wanted to get some opinions on them before she spent the money. So, have you purchased them? How much did you pay? (Comparison shopping, haha.) What do you like or dislike about them? How do they compare to other art markers like Copic? (- if you have used other markers.) Would you recommend a certain set? (If so,...
