... that is most certainly not German! What language is that, I'm getting kind of every other word...
enjoydotcom (Jan 4, 2009)
It's Dutch. It isn't strange that you pretty much get every word, German and Dutch have a lot of similar words.
HiroDaZero (Jan 4, 2009)
I don't know, the 2 and advanced kinda gave it away. :P
enjoydotcom (Jan 4, 2009)
To be more social, I wrote: "People here expect for this board drawings on which you spent at least 2 hours. This is not considered "advanced". Your work might be usually better, but this here is not good enough.

you don't have smooth lines in lascaux? I do. o_O
jpjp1052 (Jan 3, 2009)
marcello, I still get knocked off the internet when I submit using ChibiPaint. I have get back on to finish submitting. Anyone else have this problem with Chibi?
I like Lascaux & I like Chibi. Chibi has better blending, dodge, airbrush, and ability to increase brush size to really big. Lascaux has gradient and many fine features too.
I like Chibi for some drawings & Lascaux for others, depending on the effect(s) I'm trying to get. I hope we can keep Chibi so that we can have more choices in drawing applets.
Thank you, marcello, for lettings us try Chibi.
enjoydotcom (Jan 4, 2009)
My fine lines look a bit like wool if I use the 1px 'fluffy' brush, 'f' set to a lower number and 's' on the little vertical line.

new version of chibi up

re: enjoy: lascaux has smooth lines if you play around with the settings. choose the 3rd brush type, set the flow under 150 (though it depends on your brush size, larger brushes need larger flow), and make sure antialias is on. that should pretty much do it. be wary of the 1pixel brush, as it sometimes behaves specially. :-) If you zoom in you can get fractional brush sizes (like 1.5 pixels), which will go a step further for smooth lines.

Really beautiful, now I see what you mean by unfinished with your latest one. I would have originally thought it was finished. This is so incredible!

Gerda #25 says thanks!
Kloxboy (Dec 30, 2008)
That's pretty good, the colors are rather vibrant. Cows are interesting creatures, they're far more intelligent than they appear. They're also rather dangerous when spooked, I remember nearly being trampled by one as a child, while trying to help move a herd on my uncle's farm. No animal makes a better steak or jerky, good stuff.
vlad.the.hamster (Dec 30, 2008)
Cows! Haven't had much contact with them, but I did pet one once. It was very cute and had a rather intelligent expression.

Not bad at all, heck, it is great!
Kloxboy (Dec 29, 2008)
I like this style, it works. The face reminds me of David Krumholtz but younger, with different hair, blue eyes and lighter skin. I think it's the expression, it's Krumholtz-esque.
Flubbles (edited Dec 29, 2008)
Its around the mouth area i think klox! Ive only ever done one self portrait and thta was at youdraw.
Kloxboy (Dec 29, 2008)
Flubbles: The mouth is certainly a big part of it and that unassuming gaze.
