Tried out Shi-Painter for the first time. I had the worst time tryin' to shade and blend. Any Shi-Painter users out there with any advice?? I'd REALLY appreciate help!!

I usually dont look at the titles of the pictures right off, and so I saw a funny gnome pope with a mace! He has a long flowing cape and a short body and his big pope hat. I really like it better that way!

Don't worry anna, I have the same probleme. You should try paintbbs sometime (if you haven't already)/It has a much better blend tool. This is a really cool silhouette! Great idea ;)

I love Lascaux. I've been using it for all my drawings. However, I wanted to learn how to use Shi-Painter as well. I did one little pic on Beginners a while ago but found it extremely hard to blend/shade. I fiddled around and didn't really get anywhere. lol I'd really appreciate any suggestions on how to blend colors on Shi-Painter! Thanks!

This was actually drawn by my friend, she got bored so I told her to draw herself, but she made me do most of it, all she did was the "self-portrait" and the info. at the top of the page... so here she is ^_^ I think it rocks

I like the abstract background, and especially how it works into the foreground. The characters are also well drawn.

I like this, Yair. It has an ethereal and mystical feeling. It's very interesting and I like the progressively lighter hillsides as you look further into the distance.
