My layers are 'confused' again. I have two layer 3s and no layer 2. The numbering doesn't matter so much, but the layers are doing some weird masking so that I can't draw over something I've already drawn on the layer. It keeps switching between layer 3a and 3b seemingly at random as I draw. How do I fix this?

The pose looks a bit awkward, unless this is a cowboy about to draw his gun or something. Even then the elbows would be flared out a bit more. Proportion-wise, I agree with Emma about the arms and I also think the crotch area is pretty high. It's hard to say much about what the proportions should be without knowing whether this is male or female, child or adult, though. You might try gestural drawings to come up with a more natural pose instead of starting out with the body outline.Cloxboy insists that anatomy is best learned with pencil (or pen?) and paper, however, so you might try sketching a pose out on paper a few times quickly until you find something that feels more natural.

Make sure you fill up all that empty space if you want this to stay on the intermediate board. It so did /not/ take that many hours. I had to go eat and I didn't want to waste space by going ahead and submitting. I'm not really sure how the whole space thing works yet. :/

yeah, random messing around to prove I still exist... just suffering from extreme laziness and lack of any inspiration... If anyone has a suggestion of something to draw I would be grateful.

Old cartoons used to be really great. I am not sure if they show them anymore, I have heard that many of them have been banned because they are considered violent or non politically correct by today's standards. Oh, and nowdays there are too many cartoons of little kids doing boring things and they are supposed to teach children being good in school and listening to their parents. |:)However, I like the new Bugs Bunny, he looks like a little demon. I kinda wish I was back there sometimes. I think memory and interpretation speak louder than actual pictures sometimes.

The Hospital ICU =(. Not all the time do I miss it. I just miss the quite and Morphine, eh probably the morphine. Yeah I was thinking about the feeling when drawing it. The feeling of morphine is light, relaxing, calming, so thats were the softness of the picture comes from, I also couldn't remember exact shapes well.

I'm a hospital regular. 'Cause I have Crohn's Disease... you know, them nasty bleeding colon ulcers that are incurable. I love the morphine too, and demoral (mind my spelling). I couldn't sleep because my back and stomache were so inflamed, but the morphine took all the pain away. I swear I would have went suicidal without it. Then again, it cant take away the headache that is a blood transfusion.Good pic, I quite like it - it "speaks" to me.

Sorry to hear that Cianteed =(. I was in a car bad accident 2 years ago and well did make out so well but I am doing ok, now. Glad I captured the morphine vibe or hospital vibe for you ^^.

I liked the tranqs I got when they repositioned my bone. The colors and designs I saw were awesome and the feeling was good. :D The feel good stuff was good too. I miss that. |
