I tried to do an image of the nightmare, be it the one from Magic: The Gathering, or the monster from Dungeons & Dragons. Unfortunatly my mother's computer is a pain for drawing with. My hand started to hurt after a while so I majorly slacked off. Drawn with a mouse here on the beginner boards because my tablet is at my father's house.

Haha :)!I love Nightmare.The awesome black horse with a flaming mane and flaming hooves XD.This looks nice, but didn't Nightmare have a orangeish and redish region near the nose?Either way, great job :).

put some stubble on his chin..maybe bulk up his neck a tad.. ?this is the first man-ish thing i've ever done on this kind of program, actually maybe i've drawn a couple more than this, but they've never turned into anything great. he still looks like a girl, but its done. drawn and painted with a ball mouse. grrrrr. . . .

Hey Davinci, Are you talking about the Special Member's Edition, Vol. 1, 100 best pictures of National Geographic? If so, I think her eyes are actually green. I love National Geographic. Nice pic, Solarwinds. I like the medieval feel to it.

I drew another outline for a picture that was mostly glass and then I realized I had never actually drawn glass. Not as bad as I thought it woulc be. Things I learned this draw.....keep blurring, keep blurring, keep blurring....

Blur is good..but you also need sharp edges.. use the antialias setting and a small brush..and then blur the inside edge (it helps to enlarge when you do this part) with the sharp outlines the rest will look ever so much more real...the top of the clear glass vase is off a bit in perspective I believe. The front edge needs to be a bit higher, it seems to drop too low? This is a good job! I particularly like the blue one!

Yup...I agree too! The problem started after version two when I decided to add a background so you could actually see the glass. That didn't work at all. The clear glass got so over worked it wasn't worth salvaging. Better to take the comments and try to incorporate them into another picture. Thanks for the tips though. :) |
