I don't know how this one slipped by w/out me seeing it sooner. I absolutely love the "statue watchers" of the gates, and I can imagine what might be looming behind that gate. The bluish monotone is perfect for this.. the mood is perfect here. I don't know who that character is, but I can picture a grieving woman in a flowing gown in place of him... eeerie. :)

Yup, that looks like Texas allright. Like the grass detail and the sky is great. (if this is a view from the rearview mirror,..it'd be per.... wait a minute, I just remembered the Magnum,..never mind).

i'm pretty sure it says "planet rock"...
i love the character too, awesome style, its just too bad he got kind of lost in the background, would have been nice to see him stand out a bit more

okay if you couldn't read the letters it said. on his t-shirt PLANET ROCK & the little graffiti letters say Afrikaa Bambaataa's Planet Rock. It's a famous song he made in the 80s.
