HMm I would say the lips have a bit too much shine on them and the nose shadowing can be darkened a bit but other than that this is a well done piece.

It does look like them. Me and my sis used to watch it all the time. I think it was on Nick at Night. We rented all the Dark Shadows things and watched them too. Noice job on the piccy D :)

It's a decent start but the best way to tell you what to do is to show you Anna's candle http://www.cellosoft.com/2draw/view/26338/ its in the showcase too

All you need is more definition... around the edges, mostly, and that will bring out your subject. It keeps it from being blurry. Don't blend too much and don't touch the blur thingy till you've been here a long time. Yep, stay away from the blur tool. It's very good for a first one...

Hi. I am new here. Thus this is my first experiment with lascaux. It is also the first time i've used a reference of a human. Not exactly photo realistic, but I really only was experimenting. Is the only way to smudge a picture to use the blend feature on a paint brush? That'll take some getting used to!

Very pretty skin tones. The only thing I see that I might change would be to add more definition to the teeth. I'm not sure what you mean by "smudge", but if you continue to experiment with the Lascaux I think you'll find it's capable of doing pretty much anything you want it to... it seems to me to assimilate actual painting better than other applets. The blend tool usually works best on a low opacity, and you can also try a low flow to the paint, that might help as well. Welcome to 2draw... look forward to seeing more drawings from you.

Cool! The jolly roger is a great thing to have as a icon or logo. Bio Di uses it. So do the Tampa Bay Bucs! So do pirates!
