Whatever text I've added to this in the last 10 minutes is NOT showing up for me! I'm not a very happy camper at this moment .\ /.

it's a great looking logo elly! your pastor will really love it :)
elly (May 31, 2009)
Thank's, y'all. You ROCK! y'all are so consistent. I love it! I'm happy to say that the pastor loved this draw, but I talked him into trying it with a more 'rugged' looking cross instead of a clean lined one. So, whenEVER I get the chance to play with that, I will....after the wine wears off...LOL. Oh, dave, there are many premises as to why these elements are in this logo but I'm afraid it would take too long to lay it all out!!!! Ooo, that might not be a good thing... *off to the think tank*

Forgive my ignorance, but is there a meaning to the unnatural way in which the water flows?

Well, if this text doesn't show for me, this one is HISTORY!!!! I've typed my explanation out several times now and it hasn't shown up with the drawing yet! I think I've got my s**t together now and will try to explain my dilemma with this draw ONE MORE TIME......

After drawing version #5 and tried to use the logo, it has a white bkgd along with them image that I wanted to get rid of. SO, I opened the draw and using the eraser tool, erased everything on all the layers under the cross/water, then uploaded it. The version that appeared instead was version #6 looking nothing like the one I uploaded. After thinking on it a bit, I decided to go back in and completely delete all the layers under the cross/water layers and resaved it again. This time I got version #7, again nothing like what I saved. Also interesting and frustrating as well are the last two entry thumbs that have a blue bkgd till you open the file, then you see what's above now.
Does anyone have any idea how/why this would happen? Can anyone tell me what I can do to get rid of the white bkgd box so I only have the cross and water show up when using this image on something????? Huge thanks to anyone who can offer some info!!

Some Hopi Indians live in Arizona, in adobe buildings, similar to these. I never drew adobe pueblos before....I hope I did ok. I did use a "ref" pic, but my version looks completely different.......I don't think I did the "ref" pic justice, but I tried my best.....this draw was too frustrating, and I'm tired of messing around with it....so I'm posting it as "Finished"...."lol"! I'm having problems trying to reply to your "comments'......it keeps saying that I can't "double post".....so I have to reply to your comments up here....so I want to Thank you "MissDj", and "DaVinci", and "Bette", and "Wraith" for all of your nice comments.....I really do appreciate it. I'm glad you all like this draw.....and I'm glad to be done with it....."lol".....:)

I good now I'm seeing it on my PC screen. This style of building reminds me of the Tuzigoot Museum grounds. It's in Arizona in a river valley area called CornVille / Page Springs area.
Of course most of the structures there have been recreated. But the way you have the roof logs coming out of the walls and the multi levels arranged as do . The Tuzzigoot buildings have been reconstructed to look.
firecracker (May 30, 2009)
Hi "Marlon"......I've never been to see the "Tuzigoot Museum" grounds. It sounds like an interesting place to visit though......I would love to be able to see it. I love "Native American" history and culture.....it's so interesting. Thanks for commenting.....I appreciate it. I'm glad you like the "pic". :)

Oh I thought I left a comment on this, bette! This is a fab draw! Hot lips!!!!!!! Excellent job on the teeth as well! Are these anyone's lips in particular?? When I picture the whole face and what this person with the hot lips is doing that we can't see, by the way the lower lip is sort of falling open makes me think this person was sleeping when her lip photo was taken...LOL Great work!
Suntan (May 24, 2009)
I've looked at this so often, I thought I already commented, too! Awesome work, bette. Really good. :)

Where do you find your anime characters "Bubbles"? I'm not very familiar with this Anime and manga stuff, so I just now went to "wikipedia" to learn what it's all about. It seems pretty interesting. I thought it was just comic book cartoon type characters......but I see you can get videos, and watch anime on tv also. Where did you learn how to draw anime characters? Is that Manga Vampire Knight on a video, "Bubbles"?? It seems like more and more people are drawing anime characters lately.....it seems really popular.
maybug (May 24, 2009)
lolz, as much as I love anime/manga, I don't rly watch or read em anymore cos the more you watch, the quicker u get tired of them >.> Personally, i find it more fun to make my own :)
vlad.the.hamster (May 24, 2009)
I'm into Yugioh. :P
but that's just me. She does look kinda like Yuuki. I don't read VK, but I have a friend that's obsessed. :P
Bubblicious (May 26, 2009)
Yeah, Firecracker, it's on Veoh.com. If ya go there, and search 'Vampire Knight' it should be there. You have to be careful though, because some of them aren't in English. You have to look for the ones that say 'English Subs' or 'Dubs'. You'd have to watch tons of Anime to know how to draw them. I'm partial to Naruto and Vampire Knight more than anything. You go to Onemanga.com, and they have all the manga's you could ever want to read. Of course, reading them takes forever, and is kind of confusing because it is read from right to left.
