Some Hopi Indians live in Arizona, in adobe buildings, similar to these. I never drew adobe pueblos before....I hope I did ok. I did use a "ref" pic, but my version looks completely different.......I don't think I did the "ref" pic justice, but I tried my best.....this draw was too frustrating, and I'm tired of messing around with it....so I'm posting it as "Finished"...."lol"! I'm having problems trying to reply to your "comments'......it keeps saying that I can't "double post".....so I have to reply to your comments up here....so I want to Thank you "MissDj", and "DaVinci", and "Bette", and "Wraith" for all of your nice comments.....I really do appreciate it. I'm glad you all like this draw.....and I'm glad to be done with it....."lol".....:)

Even looking at it from my cell phone 1 inch screen. It is a rather remarkable version of the Indian and Sonoran style buildings. I'm very familiar with such structures. Have you been to see any in person ?
elly (May 28, 2009)
I'm so proud of you, firecracker! I opened this draw right away when I saw it was yours to see if you used mostly texture and hey!! You kept the texture to a minimum and I love it! Very nice job on this, to say the least!
Oh and about the double posting..usually when it tells you that, you should see a tiny "edit'' option and when you click that, you can edit/add to your last post. Hope that helps!

Hi "Marlon", and "Elly", and "Gloworm", and "Life"......Thank you all very much for your nice comments.....I really do appreciate it, and I'm glad you like the "pic"......this draw was really frustrating...."lol". No "Marlon".....I've never actually seen any of these types of structures in person. Years ago we drove thru Arizona, and New Mexico, and I got to see Phoenix, and the Salt River Canyon.....but unfortunately we didn't get to visit any Indian reservations.....I didn't see any Indians at all. Elly.....it was really hard for me to keep from using more textures than I did.....I just couldn't get satisfied with this draw.....and I was tempted to use textures.....but I resisted the "temptation"...."lol". I'm pretty much satisfied with this draw now....but I am glad to be done with it. Thanks for the "info" on using the "edit" button "Elly".....if I have any more problems replying to "comments"....I'll try the "edit" button. Thanks again ....."all" of you....for all of your comments....I do appreciate it. :)

"Heyyyyy" "Bmw".....Thanks so much for your nice comment....I really appreciate it! I never heard of the "Lucky Luke" playstation game....it sounds like fun! I still haven't been able to get any video games as of yet......hopefully, someday I might get a couple. Thanks for commenting! :)

I good now I'm seeing it on my PC screen. This style of building reminds me of the Tuzigoot Museum grounds. It's in Arizona in a river valley area called CornVille / Page Springs area.
Of course most of the structures there have been recreated. But the way you have the roof logs coming out of the walls and the multi levels arranged as do . The Tuzzigoot buildings have been reconstructed to look.

Hi "Marlon"......I've never been to see the "Tuzigoot Museum" grounds. It sounds like an interesting place to visit though......I would love to be able to see it. I love "Native American" history and culture.....it's so interesting. Thanks for commenting.....I appreciate it. I'm glad you like the "pic". :)
