I've had both (tongue and Labret) done for over ten years now. Don't worry, it will heal quickly if you take care of it. Mine only took a couple of days and I was eating like normal again. As for the Labret, when I take it out (usually only for jobs) you really can't tell it was ever there- especially if you wear makeup.

Yeah, I've been using listerine at least four times a day- I got it done on Saturday. I'm just worried that it won't heal since I had terrible luck with my nose. (Got it done 3 times and it got infected 3 times, but the first time because I discovered I was allergic to silver.) I know that the nose and tongue are completely different, but I just wanna be careful. :|

Boo listerine and any other alcohol based mouthwashes...try biotene instead... Good to be careful though, better that than nothing. I have three liprings and a tongue ring, you can hardly see the little holes when I take the rings out for work. Oral piercings are the second fastest healing piercings, it'll feel normal size in a week and you'll hate the extra long barbell. I ate pizza the day after I got my tongue done...the trick is to take a piece of food and stick it back where you chew things up so that you don't have to make your tongue try to push it back there. Then it's just chew and swallow! :PGreat pic, btw, that is a great depiction of what it feels like at first, lol.

This is really, really good. I especially like the way you've created the illusion of distance between the subject and the background. The hair detail and the musculature in the back are nice too, Your girlfriend is pretty. ;)

The first pic was looking really good, but the second one holds more interest as far as subject matter. I *really* like the greyscale 'isotope' effect on this one.

Oh this is just WAY COOL!!! It would go awesome in my sons red, black, & white bedroom (it's one big Pokeball!=) I could see something like this covering a whole wall!!! Very very cool!

I think it's kinda funny as a drawing. Now, actually seeing one in real life that had a goofy little face and spewed funky blue stuff with hearts and spirals in it- that might disturb me more than just a little..;D

(Has someone posted stuffs like this? If they do, sorry >_<) What do you think, people? Digital paintings are really beautiful, full of colors and wonderful effects.. and somethings looks so real! But I prefer paint by hand.. it's more simple but more original.. if someone do a VERY beautiful paint in digital colors, ok, it'll be amazing But when someone do the same painting by hand... WOW!! That's amazing a lot!!! So? Do you think we can talk too much about this? (sorry the bad english...

i usualy go for a more refind look, like the head is more refind, i'm just not used to working woth light colors and mostlikly wont in the future, sorry for the rought edges next to the neon

This is a nice first piece, believe me there are some who start in the advanced that shouldn't even be in inter yet. Just practice on the begginers to get feel for the tools and you'll be back here quick. I did that to my hair once with a crimper, took a picture too.
