Yes, very good picture of the statement; did Thoreau really say that? boy, he was right, which is why I moved away from em; but they seemed to move AROUND ME, dang. Yeah, nice colors, and good effect, and composition, looks like a book illustration (cover). You done well.
Suntan (Jul 13, 2011)

Great job on the horns..texture looks good.

Do it, Wraith.
will be fun to see.
Wraith (edited Dec 23, 2011)
Very good Miha Clau. I'll see if I can make one . Hope it is half as good as yours. It is too damn hot where I live.. No AC. Need some rain before I attempt to do any more drawings.

Edit* I still want to draw this.. Just been very sick, busy at work, holidays. Where did you go Miha?

Yes, that's beautiful, sigh, wow. I'm going to Florence, coast of Oregon, next week, and I'm tryin to get this digital camera ready, not sure if it will be; nuts. May have to take old fashioned sketch-pad and pencil, and I sure cannot take a laptop, do not have one, shit. My friend is going to bring her camera, great painting, you really can do it. :)

I love how you experiment with different styles. One of my fave things to do on an oekaki board. This really does feel like a messy scratch board or perhaps a still from a "sloppy" rotoscope animation. Neato.
dorothyblueeyes (Jul 13, 2011)
oh, axil, ooh, ooh, ooh, I love scratchboard, you are da king; beautiful. I love it. I did real scratchboard, years ago, it's very hard, cause you have to copy a real image, like a photo,or person before you, you cannot go around making something out of your head up, too hard; cause of the making light come out of a dark surface. I used a machinist's scratch-all, very sharp point. Axil is very good at light-dark work. Well, yes, he's very versatile, too,and pretty good at everything.

I would sip jack, smoke and rock in the hammock in the dark to blues.
Takes me back a bit.
Love it.

I lost my Wacom Pen for a while, but now I've got a sexy new black one.
This is a crazy cheap lamp in our flat that's from Target.

Well in that case, one thing I always try to remember is if you get captured by the enemy try not to let them stick something up your butt.

Yes, what sweeties!! Very good feet, nice eyes, wonderful fuzz and feathers. They really have that "cocked head" of the bird on a limb. "Hey, who'z you lookin' at, bub?!" Wonderful.

I think it's Dutch, which is not German. Scandinavian. (Is "het lict", "the light"?) Scandinavians, the Dutch, Norway, Denmark, Finland, all those countries, produce some of the best art design in the world, and it's not surprising our friend here is so good. This is lovely. Yes,if you look up Scandinavian design in all areas of the art world products, interior decoration, textiles, they are some of the best artists. --and highly regarded by buyers everywhere. I've seen pictures of famous designers' work, sigh. Yes, Roytje, you're very talented. :)
davincipoppalag (Dec 1, 2019)
still love this though I've never heard of the Dutch being referred to as Scandanavian.. lol
enjoydotcom (Dec 10, 2019)
I completely missed that as well. Lol.
There’s this gag that Danish gets confused with Dutch and vice versa. And if my life depended on it, I could possibly understand Danish, our societies are not too dissimilar. Also, wow, this is originally from 12.5 years ago!!!! Holy cowbells.
