now, for me to relate what years of wearing hi-heels and women's pumps, and even flats, does to feet:I have hammer toes, short achilles tendons, plantar faciitus chronic (inflammation of the bottom muscle on bottom of feet) arthritic balls of both feet very bad, heel spurs, and arthritic condition of both feet in major joints, and worn out feet generally. i'm 63, and my feet had already collapsed in my forties, even tho i was very athletic as an adult. I have to spend a lot of time in power chairs, and the feet pain has me on various drugs, and celebrex. I did much of this to myself, by wearing hi-heels a lot, and platforms( mostly hi-heels) and even low-heeled women's shoes killed my feet. MEN made and manufactured all the hi-heels,bad women's shoes, and all the women of my generation wore them, and many of us got crippled and deformed feet.

YOUNG WOMEN, DO NOT DO WHAT WE DID!!! DUMP HI-HEELS, IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO WALK! i thought i was so sexy, in cute little black granny boots, with stilletto heels, laced up tight to avoid turning my ankles. now, i would trade all those years of sexy feet and legs, just to be able to walk without pain. plus, i have to go to chiropractors, for my back, and pelvic out of whack, cause hi-heels throw your back out, and later you have horrible back trouble. Have i made it clear enough? many of we boomer women did this; if i were you, i would copy this pic, and testimony, and give them to young girls and women, to warn them what will happen if they wear them. PLEASE, if you have young teens, or girls you care about, give them this, and scare the crap out of them! I tried to put a facebook testimony up, no one saw it.

Honest, I do not want teens and young women to go thru what I did. If you think doctors can just repair all this, guess again. Maybe if you're filthy rich, good luck. This has been a true public service announcement, to get all women to wear athletic shoes, tennies, and good shoes.---- all best of health to future females, sincerely, dorothyblueeyes
