FIRST PIECE! never used this stuff before, this was supposed to be some kind of superhero-y type guy...

nice start :) ya oekaki kinda grows on you, I've now done over a hundred pieces but unfortunately have not had much free time recently (plus I try to spend it working on this site and sketchstudio)... oh well

Me (right) and my friend Polly (left). Neither of them look identical to the person they are based on but they are pretty similar likenesses and I am only using a mouse

I think the skin is too red/pink. It looks like plastic. Maybe it would help if you mix other colors to it. And a soft shadow of the hair on the skin could help too. These are only suggestions, I never tried realism and I am bad with colors. The rest looks really good. I'm looking forward to see it with a background.

I can't seem to color decently, so here's a pic I drew quickly (well, sort of, I was actually drawing this on and off trying to avoid being caught by my parents drawing girls :X). If I have time I'll edit this and add some color. Oh yeah, the animation shows how crap of an artist I am :P. I like to draw hard with my pencils and it sort of shows cuz I don't use layers and because I add stuff and change them later :P

I like it. And there's nothing bad about black and white. Personally I often prefer pictures with only a limited range of colors.

Actually I'm not entirely sure, I think a mysql error causing to think everything was ok even if the image wasn't created... I've added yet another check to make sure the image has a size greater than 0x0 when submitting.
