Eh, I was hoping I'd think of a background but I couldn't think of anything so I just did this simple crappy one....I'd like to come back to it if I can ever think of something good to do

The guy turned out really well, but it'll look even better when you come up with a better background. If anything, a moderately dark grey might do better as the lower shade of the background. I dunno. You'll figure it out, just play around with stuff on the canvas for a bit instead of thinking so hard about it, I guess. Sometimes that works for me, because I tend to overthink my drawings too sometimes.

That said, the shine is fantastic on this, and that reflection in the shadow is a nice touch. Good sense of depth, too.
