Cute design with the draggies, but what if you'd had done something about that horrid background? I mean, that greenish brown mass? Them balls just don't seem enough. Also, the darkest dragon might be a bit _too_ dark, maybe some lighter lineart for him?Still, I love that tipsy-toeing, silverish one in the foreground. is that better Your Majesty? i'm in a bad mood, don't mind me.

This is my first submission. Yes, I am aware that it isn't perfect, and that it lacks a few things. (Like shading and a background) But for a first, I think it's pretty good. Please comment!

even if you are actually good it's generally a good idea to be at least somewhat modest. "For a first" can mean a number of things there are many "first" drawings that are better than this, but an equal and quite possibly greater number that are worse.The first thing would be to stop using the ghastly fill tool and do some real shading. You'll find that using one layer for lineart, and another layer to shade makes it a lot easier and looks a lot nicer. |

Snifty concept and the figure/s are cool... a back view like that isn't generally easy, but you pulled it off nicely. If you're looking to get a softer edge and smoother blending with the watercolor tools, you could try playing with the opacity levels. It takes awhile to get used to.

well, Typo_Maan, if u want an explanation, i shall give ya one. the fact that marik is evil is not his fault. in the anime, the first child of marik's parents was odion, but they adopted him, and in their family they guard a phaorohs tomb forever and they can't go up into the real world. so odion wanted to do it, but then they had marik. but marik didn't want to do it, and he had to. so when the did the tombkeepers initiation, an "evil" awoke in marik's subconsciousness and that evil spirit took over mariks body for a minute and banished his father to the shadow realm. he had no control over it. so then he went into the real world to search for the phaoroh for revenge, which just happens to be Yami Yugi. So thats how that got started. so u see, its not mariks fault. :D |

eh. ur right/. i'm a normal human with 5 fingers. and if you look at the eye a bit more, you can see the blue.um....could a mod, ANY mod, please change this to unfinished hidden? (for now???)
wow! i really like how this turned out and i'm really glad that i spent the time to re-do it. well, it's pretty cool, you have to admit. oh, and i tried to make the orange on the book look gold by using dodge. i don't know if it worked that well, but it still looks nice!

I'm just submitting this unfinished to see if anyone has hair colour suggestion and/or constructive criticism about anything, and/or optionally background ideas.All This Time is a song by Sting, the inspiration might be a little obscure ^^; I -should- mention the timer is hideously wrong and I only spent maybe two hours on this. But I won't. Dirty blonde? Okay, I imagined her a brunette, but I suppose dirty blonde is a happy medium between brown and blonde anyway ^_^ Em, well, you know those picture that always seem to look better in the Thumbnails? Yeah, this is one of them.
Instant fantastic shading! Step ten feet away from your moniter and squint, makes this shading seem almost decent!
