The foot of a person who is about to feel one bite, and then a whole bunch of bites all at once, and then will hop and scream and slap at their feet and ankles, and then they will discover that there are also ants in their pants, and they will remove their pants hurriedly and then they will back into a cactus with no pants on, and they will be picking cactus stickers out of their butt and scratching their feet right when the cops arrive to arrest them for indecent exposure, and they will wear a road map around their waist on the way to jail, because they cannot put their pants back on because the ants are still in them.

The veins in the big toe is so real and the skin beneath it. Unusual piece of art and so well done.

a character design for a lute player. No real significance to her, except to speak only in rhymes and play nice bg music. she doesnt have a name yet..
Noremac (May 25, 2004)
well, i havent really started on it, i mean i would remodify it a smidge, to you know fit my drawin style. well the comic is based on my vampire character for DnD, i mean hes got a pretty good story line thus far, so i figure i could make a comic outta it, instead of wonder what my comic is guna be about all the time, and not draw it

mooseflower (May 10, 2004)
I like this style, it sort of reminds of that french artist who liked to draw moulin rouge stuff, but on a computer :D
Kasha (May 10, 2004)

There she goes... I think it's surrealism, but I'm not sure.
Knockoff (May 7, 2004)
Awesome-ness. I love this and the creek is cool. The face and ripped body rock.I love the background, you have the most cool coloring style.
concannon (May 7, 2004)
The sun. The sun...thing, is what I love about this. Because of the clouds around it, it looks like it's either in a pit, or extending out on a stalk to get a better look at the character in the piece....er, yes. >> Great job.
davincipoppalag (May 7, 2004)
I would say it is! lol This is great. To me.. the spirit things headed off into that light look like the soul leaving the earth..but they appear as sperm ready to start a new life in a different place... this is very evocative.. nice.

I was thinking maybe porn sites have good models but I got kinda scared about having my family come in and thinking I was some kind of weirdo. Im trying to find a simple model without any sexual gestures. So natually, porn is out of the question. Arrrgh, I have a feeling this is gonna take me ages.
I used these books to better my antomy skills as well better myself as an artist:
The Human Machine by George Briggman - a good book to learn the mechanics of anatomy
Dynamic Anatomy by Burne Hogarth - great book and Hogarth is one of the best
50 Secrets of Magic Craftmanship by Salvador Dali - aside from sounding kinda insane at times, it's a great book
Gray's Anatomy - this book is best for learning terms
Anatomy for the Artist by Jeno Barcsay - this has great drawings in it and another good term book
There are a few others I own but those I listed helped me most.
Of course, don't take my word for it. <some of you are old enough to get that joke, I hope, that line is right up there with "...and knowing is half the battle"
The really soft lines and then the really dark ones really make it work.
Is there a reference or is that from your head? It better not be from your head. :B
I wish I had the style you have. *sigh* *stalks kasha*
