The faint blush and the shapes of her face are great, not too smooth and not too messy. Her bottom lip and chin are especially nice.

The picture is incredibly beautiful, but snow! I hate the stuff. I am originally from Michigan as well and I am so glad we barely see any of that crap in Kentucky. In fact today is the first day we have had it all year and I hate it. I am with you DBA, I had to go find my fuzzy slippers after seeing this. Awesome pic though Kloxboy! |

That's really something else. o_o I'm not sure what to think of it - my soundcard is just being weird, otherwise I would listen. I'm not sure, exactly, what to think of it, but I know that I like it. I'd have to stare for awhile to really get everything, and I like that. :)

Sounds weird but it looks like skin draped and folded. I know ewww. Though I do see a face and horns in the middle of the picture.But your work is like Klox and Rojtie and a few others. Good interesting abstract.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can improve this?? This is going to be given to my friend as her birthday gift.

Getting better - the shadow under her jaw is good - try mixing some purple (very lightly) into the very darkest shadows of her face. Also, her lips need more definition- better than it was before, I can start to see that this is indeed a girl and that she's got some definition to her features - as the other one was very flat. You have the contours of her face right (except for her nose, but I'm really not sure what to do there, I think her nostrils are too long?) The background colour kind of washes her out, so if you picked another colour that might help as well. Keep it up! <3 I'm very much liking this so far. Okay, thank you. I'll add that to the shadows and fix the mouth later. I think I'll add more definition to the hair as well, and the nose needs more tweaking. What color would you suggest for the background?
