It's been a while since I was here, and I was itching to draw something. What better to do than draw something from my dreams?
I've also been wanting to draw this for a while, and a good sketch to start it off will be nice. Lately I've just been doing photography.

There's a ruler in there, some pencils, a CD, and a cup. Find them? :)

A flight of stairs in flight.

I don't know if I want to change anything anymore, but I will check back tomorrow and see if I like it as is.
I'm not satisfied with the last step closest to the viewer...

And edited. Made it crisper round the edges :)

I'm sorry it's so big, I was going to draw something else on this big space, but ... when I draw, I tend to take up the whole canvas or paper with big compositions.

The title actually has nothing to do with what I wrote above; I chose that as a title after looking at his expression. It seems somewhat apologetic.
I had a strong urge to draw anime today, so here's Hitsugaya, one of my favorites from Bleach.

Huang Shan Mountains

Based on a photo by foureyes on DeviantArt.

It is apparently Huang Shan, which is a mountain range in China. My colors turned out quite different from the photo :)
I haven't oekaki-ed in ages, so please excuse. I had a sudden urge to oekaki today~

Howl of course

at last, i watched Howl's Moving Castle!
definately not the same as the book, but loved the movie anyways ^^

some fanart - i don't really do pix in this style, so it probably looks a little odd.
anyways, for all howl fans out there as well... XD

Howl no ugoku shiro is pretty old now o_o;;
I liked the book better XD;; Howl had more character, hell, everyone had more character and there was more storyline.
But, Movie Howl is pretty +_+; and I guess Miyazaki sensei does have a helluvalot of imagination.
so the book and the movie both win.

:3 very nice~ I love that expression you drew him in X3 <3 I did some Howl fanart too, but it was on a japanese oekaki board dedicated only to Howl's moving castle. >_>;

Soulful Blue

One thing the color blue to me is the soul. I'm not quite sure why, but that's what blue makes me think of.
Maybe I'll do some more colors later, i thought this was fun ^^
hahaha and i tried a different way of doing things on this piece, especially where the hair is concerned

Nice chalky/pastely colours and texture. I'm so amused by prettyful colours... i think it's becoming a problem.
