ohhh it looks good and i agree with zappo =^.^= *so jealous*btw ameraq a tablet is like a heavenly device that falls from heaven *dur to me* and is basically a mousematshapedpressuresensorthing and a pen so that you can draw straight into the computer i use a mouse by the way (it kinda sucks but is cheaper) (tablets cost minimum of ?30 i think thereabouts dont know what that is american dollars) =^.^= yes yes i wrote too much i like the shadows on the face as well

wow--lotsa the nicest things said, thank you (I say)... I will confess to using my trusty + time-worn Wacom tablet. I can't draw with a mouse to save my life. Well, maybe to save my life, okay, but not confidently. Thanks to all for the comments, as they only urge me to post more ( in the future, no insomnia tonight). Love this site, Frickin Love It!

Very Nice Eyes!... I kinda want to go back to school too.....Its sweet I had 2 extra electives I didn't even know about last day of school so now i get to start school off with Advanced art (Art 3-4) and Ceramics....

Lucky Zappo.. I applied for the Art Academy at skool, but apparently Miss Hicks didn't like my honest answers, and there is no way in hell I'm taking art2, for Mrs. Mays is crazy (literally, methinks) I'm taking Japanese though ^_^ |

It's a good thing to spend lots of time on pictures, obviously...but something weird happens when I take too long. If I work on a picture for over like 50 minutes, when I finally send it, all the settings are back to default (i.e. greeting message is "hello, taori", site theme is the normal purple one). Is it just another of oekaki's quirks?

what can i say my computer fecked up halfway thru - sorry!!!!!! I conclude - this was terrible - u hate it im sorry harsh u may be - can i deleete this??

actually, i shun layering like the devil. the only time i use it is in a picture with lineart... and that would be 2 layers... or in a picture with lots of lighting effects. i think this came out pretty good, but you could have cleaned up the outline a little more. i like the 'messy' smudge effects on the skin, and the indefinite light source. people say you need an obvious light source, but they are wrong!! :D

4:00 a.m., watching Goldeneye. Pierce Brosnan hypnotizes me. (And thanks to my stupid cat, I only got 3 hours of sleep, so I'll probably go back later and realize that my little shading experiment there was entirely unsuccessful.)

I don't get what the big deal is with 007 movies.....I've never seen one all the way though, I usually get to the beggining then get bored and put on another movie or somthing.

for the most part, the lineart is my favorite bit. Sexy nose, yeah. the eyebrow...is a line....um, interesting. the chin sort of reminds me of Shaggy from Scooby Doo, so its all good! :D |

I get really frustrated because I can't draw clean line art -.- (notice the sketchy look of the majority of my art..bah) it's UBER irritating, so can anyone gimme any tips on how to make it at least appear somewhat smooth? *bats eyelashes* :P
