You know your stupid when even the kitty thinks so...Wolf/Felin-esk thing.. didnt want a reference so I didnt use one... Fur advice greatly appreciated

:P not bad :PHeres a tip with fur, when doing fur, use a large transparent brush at first, starting from the bottom to up, and then repeat with a smaller, and then even smaller brush, but making the brush less transparent.... use a hard brush at all times :P |

this is a n00b pic... i first drew a sucky line and decided to draw my school wide famous dogs... yeah i suck... for i am a n00b at this sort of stuff....myuh... i am sooo tired... gomen for the crappiness.... failed attempt at fur.... i shall name him... Gwurf...(spelling- G-W-E-R-ifa) PH34R T3H CR4PP|N3ZZ!!!

Hey not bad, next time when making fur, try using a very low (5) opacity large dark hard-brush (i never use softbrush, it gives it a more cartoony effect and you never can fit details wtih a softbursh)), then slowly go to a smaller about 30% opacity with a hard light color to it (this should be the least tho)You can always clean up lines using an eraser :P

. . . .do wha-? i didn't know how to change the sizes of the brushes when i first got on, and i know now. heh heh! ( ; ;)~teari redid the whole thing, and the red and black marks are from the burn tool. the colors in the background is supposed to be fire (i took this idea from MK), and suggestions for more dogs/wolves would be helpful!

:P ....done! Even with a tablet it sure does take some effort let me tell you! Some things I see that still need fixing but their small and I don't really think that they detire from the pic that much so I'm not going to bother. Heh....no referance use of any kind. I should draw when I'm pissed or stressed more often! My best works seem to come from those times. *shrugs* Any ways....Have a HAPPY "VALENTINE"s day! *I know bad joke* :D Enjoy

My First Attempt in 2draw, (the first drawing applet)wacom used :P with no reference. I may continue it later, but im running out of time for today. (gotta fix those cheek fur :3 )

Heres tip,
when doing airbrushing, avoid using the soft round brush. The best way is to actually use low opacity round hardbrush (especially if you have a tablet)
and then build the shading using it, then as you go on, use smudge (with soft-hard brush)...
you may notice that the softbrush actually is slightly uncontrollable, but with smudge (well actually blur) you will have slightly more control into your drawing.
