Darnit. I messed up. I sketched this out on paper for my friend Dave. I tried to do an oekaki... but it didn't turn out very well. I'm thinking of just giving him the original sketch. That's a chibi-me waving. See that little bit on one of my legs? I made that mistake and didn't realize it till now. I'm gonna have to go back and edit it in Photoshop before I show it to him... -Sigh-Anyway. This was done with a mouse. |

Gosh... I've been away from here for so long! I still haven't improved much. Anyway, this drawing was done with a mouse. Guess who it is? (Incase you didn't look at the title) XD Jhonen Vasquez is an artist... you might know him from "Squee", "Johnny The Homicidal Maniac", "Filler Bunny", and "Invader Zim". My THIRD attempt at coloring... Someday I shall start backgrounds... maybe tomorrow.

Gah-Ness... I haven't been on in a while. So I'm really rusty. This was drawn with a mouse really fast... I should have spent more time on it, but I have to leave in a few. Anyway... This is Momiji from Fruits Basket.

I felt like doing something childish. Somthing you'd see on a little kid's birthday card or something. I felt like I needed a Guardian Angel when I did this, which is my it's named Gaurdian Angel-01. I plan on doing more like it, but more elaborate. It was mostly the wings that gvae me trouble. XD Done with a mouse.

This, of course, is Princess Zelda from The Legend of Zelda games. I made this for my friend Sam. A tornado recently hit our area. Unfortunately, it landed on her side of town. Her grandparents home was torn up and only a few things remain. Her and her family have been out there looking for any remaining possessions. I drew Zelda with a very sad look on her face... I know, it's not a great picture... But hey, not the right moment to criticize.EDIT: Forgot to mention, drawn with a mouse. My hands all shaky from being sick and the mouse is slightly broken... So thats another reason why it's not so great.

Ah.. this didn't turn out too well. This is my first attempt at coloring.. x.x;; It still looks sketchy.. Thats just my style. I wish I could have done better. Yet again, done with a mouse. Taken off of Paper Mario.

If you want sketchy to be your style, which is what a lot of good artists do actually, then I'd suggest pushing it further and making things even more "sketchy." That's not to say skip out on the details, but when something just has a few rough lines then it'll look like you just didn't make your lines smooth. I think you could add more lines in the hair and maybe use lines for shading too. |

Me again. ^^ This is Megumi from a comic and and some friend's made called, "Happy Times"... (Unrelated Question: What's a template.. And all this other complicated stuff..? Cause all of my stuff is done with a mouse. I still know barely anything of Oekaki.) She's a ninja who's very tedious and tries to keep the others in line. And fails miserably. Most people think she's boring.

I like the way the large amount of whites on her are merging her with the background. She sounds like an interesting character to me, sort of a "big sister" type. I think that maybe you should be a little more careful with shading though, like the parts that it's going over the lines of her arms and hitting the background. It's okay to shade over the lines in some cases but here the structured background conflicts with the breaking of structure in the shading. |

In the Wind Waker comics, I think it's either page 91 or 92, chapter 6. I know, it's not all that great, but hey, I'm working on it.

Yay! More "Legend of Zelda" stuff! This is Medli of the Rito Tribe from WindWaker! She's my favorite character from the whole LoZ series! (Less of a pain in the butt than Ruto...) I gave up trying to color her. I colored my oekaki art once (look in my gallery) and it game out so horrible! I'm sticking to black and white! Well, what are your opinions?
