Really, I based this off a picture of myself. At least, I did the pose, and got the haircut and build right. I messed up a little on the face, but I like how it turned out. I love white on black line sketches...and Lascaux really rocks! Great app Marcelo!

Just a pole, can be whatever anyone wants. :) I added it in at the last second for fun (and because I wanted to play around a little more with negative space, for the fingers and whatnot). Mostly I was just looking to catch the pose with perspective/foreshortening stuff. The point wasn't so much in what the figure is actually doing, it's more in the action of the figure and whatnot. I don't know, I didn't like it at first, but it was one of those deals where I stared at it for several minutes, and it grew on me. Wasn't looking to put too much detail in, I wanted to keep it simple, show negative space, that kind of artsy crap. ;) I might go back and put a bunch of dramatic lines in, but I don't know...I kind of like it the way it is. Simple white on black line drawing...

Apparently someone linked some of my images, and now they're turned to crap with 'don't direct link! 2draw forever!' on them. Is there anyway to restore my images at all? Or are they permanently scarred? If you're going to try to prevent hotlinking, an angelfire-type roadblock might work better than defacing pictures. You might also do well to mention the fact that hotlinking isn't allowed in the FAQ, so people wouldn't even try.

i've been reading a book about the angel mythos. my sister asked if she could read it, and i said no because i wasn't done. she frowned and said, "Oh, right, cause i'll probably stain the pages and doodle on them."

that ruinded your mood? it's not like she grabbed the book from you and rippde it up. anyway, an AWESOME picture. very sleek angel. his wings could use just a tad more definition (i didn't know they were ings until you mentioned it).

I'm going visit relitives for about week (from jul. 31st to aug. 10) so I'm probably not able to draw because other people need to use the computer for work and stuff, so I don't have / get enough time to use the computer to draw, but I'll be able to comment................. see ya!! (If I'm lucky, I might have enough time to draw a quickie)

Sorry for the lack of time spent on it. Anyway, I just got back from Baltimore with my Girl Scout troop and we stayed at this really crappy motel named the Red Carpet inn and it was so disgusting.
