Dearest Mother,Words cannot describe what I have seen these last couple of weeks. I wish nothing more than to return home and escape from this horrible place. I pray every night, alone in my foxhole, hoping that by some miracle the war will end tomorrow. But they keep pushing us forward, forever forward. Our CO reassures us that we'll be home for Christmas. I want to believe him, but I just can't. Berlin is still so very far away, I don't know if I can live through another day, let alone a couple of months. Your letters and the thought of returning home are the only things keeping me going. Contrary to popular belief, I have not "done hard time." And if I had, I would never scrawl on walls. And if I did, I would come up with something far more original - I would scrawl "Emergency Exit" above the toilet, or draw a self-portrait with an ornate frame around it, along with words "I was framed." Just so you all know.

just out of curiousity does this happen to anyone else? when you move windows (regardless of being in the applet) over shi-painter it leaves trails of outlines. drives me insane. same happens when you scroll. boo. and yeah i realize you can make it go away by zooming or hitting undo but thats still a pain.

No, they're horrible! They suck! I have never seen such a terrible skyline! Ok...that's a lie, they actually do look nice...could be more interesting and defined though. They don't do the rest justice.
