Lovely. I'm looking at the sky after reading your question re brightness. The only thing about it that strikes me is the center of the meadow is quite brightly lit so the sky seems dark in that regard. The tones in version 5 seem to work well together. But, having said that, I really like the way you did the sky, like the sun is trying to break through overcast. The colours in this are what it looks like around here...autumn. Good luck learning Lascaux. I still haven't made friends with it after 6 years.

lori- It'd be nice to paint it on a canvas, but it's not something I'd like to see on a wall.. I prefer abstracts for that.Teapot- I like the old feeling the redness gave it, but I realize that I've lost many of the colors from the 5th ver.. and I like Lascaux, but I don't know its tools like sharp/blur/scatter/dodge/burn etc.

Beautiful piece, really skillful. I love the subdued colors of it, and its atmosphere, so lovely...I wouldn't mind this piece on my wall, haha. |

Been missing your beautiful paintings. Good to see something from you, MDJ. Makes me think of a place on the Oregon coast where you can see a long way down the shoreline with many rocky outcroppings...Cape Sebastian.

Nice! Neurology is so interesting. You probably don't need it, but good luck. Hope you do well. :]Mine didn't go very well. I have a bad habit of going back over tests and changing answers, so that messed me up a bit. CK: ha, that's what it looks like. Going for creepy/evil, but got goofy/pervy instead.

Crude pictures of right angle stictch,and beading loom, at least two methods of bead weaving, my new hobby; studying a book,learning all the stitches,and going once a week to a "bead circle" to yak and work with all the other women,and have snacks,chat,while we work. yuk.Fun but challenging.

Haven't seen one of those since I was in high school. I used to make Native design belts with mine, line them with suede. I loaned my loom to a woman named Rowena who worked with me as a telephone operator. She never gave it back...That was 40 years ago so I guess I shouldn't hold my breath. |
