Contest Week 15: The Scene Your goal this week is to illustrate a scene. Choose a scene from your favorite book, movie, TV show or video game. The scene should include 2 or more characters. wow...this is beautifully done! i LOVE the lil' chibi Shinji and Kaoru in the background. they = rabu! <3 and rei looks really good, as does asuka's expression. it suits her very much. hehe

They are not being harsh melissa, critisms help point out where im going wrong so that i can improve which is what i want.

If you can get a dress mm4833 hang it nearby, look at how it hangs, the folds, where the light hits. This isn't bad at all. I've seen some who can't get form much less folds. Just keep practicing. The hangers spot on.

Wonderful, your one of my favorites here and you draw too little, wish you were here more.I can see the second eye (the left) is just a touch higher than the right and the pupil makes her look just slightly cross-eyed, but that's all, honestly you do these black and white images so well one hardly notices.

for a first painting, that is really not bad at all.... if you use the blend tool on a low opacity (on the flesh and the hair), and then go back and re-define the details, I think you'll be happier with it. My favorite part of this is the eyes.

down at the end of "Brown's roooaaaaad" mmm hmm... I preferred that to the river and the cemetery. :) I love the color highlights on the tree... somehow really makes it feel like night.

It's a great first pic, my my there have been some wonderful fresh blood here recently, still a little new myself, it'll be a year soon. Welcome welcome Black kat.
