My vampire rp character, Yavi. And my friends evil vampire rp character, Aatiyana. (subject to change as I'm not exactly sure on the details of what she looks like) Maybe I'll draw his other character, Fyodor, sometime as well.... Ideas for a BG? Any suggestions so far? |

(Has someone posted stuffs like this? If they do, sorry >_<) What do you think, people? Digital paintings are really beautiful, full of colors and wonderful effects.. and somethings looks so real! But I prefer paint by hand.. it's more simple but more original.. if someone do a VERY beautiful paint in digital colors, ok, it'll be amazing But when someone do the same painting by hand... WOW!! That's amazing a lot!!! So? Do you think we can talk too much about this? (sorry the bad english...

i wanted to draw a scenery sorta thingi....so i drew a scenery sorta thingi :) ...its not very good bt hell....ignore the time tho, i spent one hour on the phone with my bf....so u can minus an hour...

Not bad, you should cut down a bit on the dodge tool and use Air Brush or Watercolor on low to get some nice soft clouds and sky, but I like this. Reminds me of markers.

thank u poppa and sweetcell......i knew i needed somethin for the clouds...somethin more fluffy....but i couldnt quite put my mind to wha it was...lol considering the fact tha the air brush tool was starin at me! i mustve been dreamin! ......i mite go back to it and improvise on monday....bt for now im gonna lay bk and enjoy the weekend....lol......

Wow......to do all this on a laptop without a mouse or anything it's amazing..........You could buy an art tablet and hook it up........its like drawing with a pen on a board and it shows up on screen.....Those are way easier than a mouse too. |

Hand anatomy hurts my head :SAnyways, I was reminded today about the Wii and so googled it out of boredom and got sidetracked to random Nintendo-ness.. after watching the trailer for Twilight Princess (even though I've seen it a while ago), I remembered the whole Zelda franchise and how cool/charming it is. I still have to finish Wind Waker someday .. Looking forward to Twilight Princess, and the Wii, although I hate to sacrifice MGS4 for SSBB, but my wallet gives me no other choice XD Main thing this pic was for was to practice drawing the hand, and to a lesser extent, eyes and shiny things. On another note, I reeeally should learn to draw more efficiently.. I mean, 4 hours ? :X

Thanks guys!As for the hand, I was thinking it was too big also although I was thinking it was more too fat than too long, but I'm the noob :P. It was probably a result of me failing at perspective/foreshortening (her left upper arm/shoulder shows a bit of the same mistakes). If you were to look at a hand in that pose with its fingers pointing mostly towards your eyes, the fingers that you see would be more of a similar length, and fairly short. Keeping the hand in the same pose but looking at it from the side, the fingers are differing lengths and shapes .. but for the angle in the picture, it would be from the front, so the fingers should indeed be shorter.. Thanks again for comments and critique, both are very helpful!
