First drawing on 2draw. Did this during class. I have five minutes left so I gotta go. I'm surprised I actually painted a decent face, especially with mouse! ^^ Today is a goooood day. :)

*nods* I see one of the masters in the making, yesh XD~I guess it's done now. Hmm. I should've really drawn guidelines or at least a face to paint on. ^^' I like how the lips and nose are, er, the lips... nevermind. But I was trying hard on the nose. Eyes are a little far apart, but that can be solved next time. :P I'm no wiz at hair, so there ya go! At least I think now I have determined some good skin tones to use. :)

No way, the bg's slapped on, the lineart is messy, that hand is crap, the chins too big, the only part that really turned out were the lips and the hair, and I wasn't putting an intermediate level of effort into it. Definitely beginner quality. Thanks you though! :D

I watched the animation and I have a sugesstion. Instead of airbrushing/watercolouring everything (and keep doing it alot with so many colours! i thought it would never end o_o;), you should sketch it all out on layer 1. Then, after you have made the sketch how you want it to look; start coluring it on the bottom layer and then just work it all from there. It'll make everything easier and nicer. But you're doing pretty nice so far; you just need some practice like everybody :) |
