This is good, but not as good as it could be. Are you still using the fill tool? I used to aswell, until I figured out layers. It looked so much better after I painted instead of filled. I also think you should maybe use a different style of eyes and change shape on the head.But good try ^_^

The eye is positioned improperly, this view can be difficult to get. The forehead should sweep normally, where the crook of the nose going to the bridge is sweep the eyelid (the eye lines up in the inner crook of the nose ridge) and push it further back from the front of the face, though not much. And the eye should be more like a sideways v, such as >. The nose is alright but at times the cheek is shown. Sometimes connected slightly with the eye, and covers the corners of the mouth, like so (. And the chin should sweep up to the ear (which most times the bottom ear is even with the end of the nose. And if the ear is shown it would be half or a quarter view. You almost have it, if you just put a thin line from the chin and sweep it up it will show the head and the neck. Like I said it's tricky and I still have trouble with that angle. I hope I explained it well enough (it's always easier to show someone then type it, but this is the net) Again find pictures that show this angle and maybe my words might make more sense.Getting better Shortie. just something i had to finish because it was taking up space

A couple suggestions: I find Oekaki shi-painter to be a lot easier to use, and I think you should try that out. Try using layers when you color too. When you color, if you don't want it to look so sketchy, then you could always use a bigger brush size, and clean up the coloring later. Oh, and spend a little more time on your pictures. I hope that helped a little

hmmm... i agree with november spend a little more time and refine it some make your lines softer and smoother maybe that will help... it's to heavy the lines...to sketchy :) |
