I bumped onto this board in my search for a new oekaki home and oh god, I love Lascaux X3 anywayz, it's 7 hours cos i went on and off the comp and my first pic was...somehow...eaten alive and uhh.. yeah. Hope I can come over here more often X3 |

It's good, but it's not realism. Heh. It's actually anime, in my opinion. Use a ref. to help make your art more realistic if you want.It's a good anime pic though. The shading and the strands of hair are a nice touch.

i never said it WAS realism.. just the closest i've ever gotten to it.. i can't draw anything thing other than anime and animals, which is sad ~_~ i dont even think im going to try realism.. i'd get too frustraited@_@

No I don't have an 'x' on my forehead, but I think its cool, has to do with a cartoon with an X on his forehead and a song called "Permanent Red". Eep....cliche...? |

You're doing well. :) Have you worked with layers yet? They help reduce the amount of little white dots in your picture. Fill noise, I think that's what I saw someone call 'em. |

watercolour isn't really great for lineart like you've done. It's a good picture, but I think would be better done in regular anime style.
