Does JPEG not like the color red? 'Cause whenever I have a picture that has red in it and it gets converted into JPEG, the color gets all ...icky...and ... messy....

This is absolutely friggin beautiful. The glow, the colors, the lineart. This is so eye candy. like, my eyes are actually saying "yum" lol.

Actually I think it looks pretty finished to me. There's a few places that might use a little more definition like a bit in the legs, but the blurred colors are a perfectly valid way of doing things. Since the blur is mostly horizontal and since the background is a very warm color it looks like he's in the middle of a fight late in the evening, running around trying to out manuver his enemy (in this case, the viewer).

well if anything, it was supposed to be link in the fire temple. and theres a long dragon as a boss. theres just supposed to be a lot of fire. thats the dragon on the bottom right.. But i dont think theres any pillars during that fight.. ohhhhhh well. I still dont like his eyes.

planned to finish this but am running out of time. as for the name Little Lizzie? dunno, felt like it suitedfinally... but not exactly the way I wanted. anyway, I had wanted to put her hand somewhere within the frame too but then I had no reference as to roughly which position her hands would be at (didn't want to get some strange pose up there heh). since I still need quite a lot of practice with backgrounds, this is just some thingasomething whatever it is...

She looks good. I think the hair is the best part since it has both highlights and shadows but also actual direction with the way it flows (where it's pulled back toward the ribbon). The red on the cheeks may be a bit too bright and the shines on them too shiny though.

I normally don't do that, but I thought I could give it a try. turns out that i would need more practice on that!! I think I could do better with the hair, I don't quite like the area above the fringe (that sort-of empty space in the middle), and I could never make out the direction of hair in that part of the head. ooopsie.....thanks for the comments! Okay, so what you mean is you're open for praise but nothing else? Because that's what it's sounding like. You see, you really don't get to choose whether you're open for comments or criticism or whatever. If you get them then you get them, if not then you just don't. It's the choice of whoever leaves the comment, not you.

The grass looks cool, like it was painted there with real paint. She looks like she's actually running too and not just floating there, partly because of the angles of the grass.

Maybe the linework a bit, but still the feeling of movement and running is there. The name in the corner is a little distracting though.got rid of "shinobu" in the corner
