I've had success with this shading technique and I rather enjoy it. Used a picture from FHM as a ref.

I always find it amusing that there's no time slot for us, people don't get that we saw the latter part of the sixties as small children... so we know about it, but our fun was in the 70's :) wait! I'm still having fun.
