You captured that "I'm very comfortable so don't bother me" look they get . Really good one.
Roytje (Nov 22, 2006)
I love this style.

Northern lights in the cold northwest . Loosely referenced from a photo by Mike Macri in a book called "Daybreak 2000"

it's an aloe!
yay! More inanimate things by me.
The textures gave me a hard time on this one. Shi could use some more texturing options. :0

Hey..I like this series you're on. This one looks very well done, to..I like your lighting
Roytje (Nov 23, 2006)
I think this looks very realistic already :)
nekopon (Dec 23, 2006)
i agree, shii painter really needs more texture options ('specially for realism-istic things >D)
i really like how you colored it, and how it glitters somewhat <3
Deino (Dec 24, 2006)

WHen I was 7 or 8, my father gave me for my birthday a book about the paranormal... I was particulary impressed by Vlad the Impaler. You should know him, Bram Stoker based part of his character "Dracula" on this man. Anyway, the point is I got obssesed with vampires and was facinated by Nosferatu, but just recently I had the chance to see the movie, and I loved it.

I have got a new tablet, YAY! And, isn't october a spooky month? Yay for themed drawing!

Well, I feel honoured. Thanks Solve!
Roytje (Nov 13, 2006)
Greatness. Best black/ white piece I've seen lately.
Sweetcell (Nov 13, 2006)
Waited till this was finished before I commented. Of all the vampires he's the scariest (as one can see just from looking at him) The other vampires after him have some sexuality to them (even Lagosi) but Nosferatu is just scare you shitless. Amazing as always Deino. I'd say showcase but maybe just a t-shirt, right on the back so people can freak as you walk away.

My take on a scene from "A Christmas Carol". I used a ref, the Scrooge character is my step dad and Tiny Tim is my nephew. If you haven't seen "A Christmas Carol" before, I highly recommend the 1951 film "Scrooge" aka "A Christmas Carol", it's the best of the film adaptations, in my opinion. I'm using this drawing as my Christmas card this year (e-cards mostly). As it stands, this is my Christmas card to all of you. :D

Friend he didn't flip it, like I said V1 is the anti-matter Earth and this is obviously the matter Earth by how much prettier it is.

It's so lovely how you added that little shooting star and made the tree glow from the moonlight yet still looks like it's night. You go on like this I'll be changing wallpapers every week. :)
Childlike_Vampire (Dec 19, 2006)
That's really pretty, I really dig the purpley redness of the dark sky and the oliveness of the foreground. Great highlights on the tree, and I love the clouds. Like this one a lot. :D
cianteed2 (Dec 21, 2006)
Gorgeous, gorgeous job here. BRAVO!
Roytje (Dec 22, 2006)
Thanks alot for the comments!
Friend: I thought it would look funnier (is that a word?), because most of us look from left to right. So I flipped it and I liked the result :) But Sweetcells conclusion is good, too :)

Take a long look at this pic, may be the last time we ever see snow if global warming keeps spiking.
Roytje (Dec 16, 2006)
I think it would be even better if the background color was blue.
And Friend, through global warming there will be a next ice age. So then you'll see alot snow.
