I liked the first version because it had nice colours, but I like this one too because the face doesn't look demented anymore :Dedit: after further speculation I realized his arm is too big. |

She looks more elvish then fairy-like. And yah, shading shouldn't matter that much. Iterpret it how you like, but it's really the artists decision. She created it! :D Anyways, great drawing, yes very minty ;)*sigh* think i let this picture and some of the comments get to me too much...to be honest it made me completly go off drawing...i havent done a thing "arty" in 2 or so weeks which isnt like me..i..liked this picture when i 1st posted it but now i cant stand to look at it anymore...think i'll just set it as finished and leave well alone....guess i gotta dig up some confidence from somewhere before i draw something again lol..(something ive always lacked) grr...

How exactly do the rankings progress (Newcomer, Apprentice, Artist, etc)? I know Apprentice starts with 100 points, Artist with 200, and Dabbler with 300, but what happens beyond that? And is Dabbler relatively new?--I don't remember ever seeing it before. (Whew, lots of questions.)

I am just trying to get a handle on this mouse drawing stuff again.. been away from here to long, it feels good to be back at this!! I finally bought a new computer so i will be able to draw again.. well when i'm not swamped with college work... >.< And i have the scanner up and running also which is good!! Anyway i have to go to sleep, i gotta be up by 4:30 tomorrow XP ~bye~

well..the timer is way off as u prolly can guessthough this picture took a lot longer than i expected...its harder drawing me than i thought lol dont know why i decided to draw it in this style...think i'm addicted to it lately...but i gotta admit it was hard to do this time!..the lighting on the face just confused me..i ended up with the photo pinned over a light so i could tell shadow around cheeks better lol heres my ref photo was a school one...taken when i was 5 years old :) lol
